My buddy would probably like the no playing catch one. We were tailgating at the Stick once and he had a full plate of food including a nice New York steak hot off the grill knocked out of his hands and into a puddle by a wayward football from another group. He was ready to throw-down, but it was an accident and the dude was like 6-5, 260 and built like a brick s**t house. At least the 49ers won.

Yeah...I have young kids and was hesitant to take them to a game at Candlestick. WAY, WAY too many peeps walking into the stands already drunk as hell.

At that last Monday night game at the 'stick, a lady came and sat next to me. She had no clue that it wasn't her seat, had no clue where she was, and couldn't even answer a question. The actual peeps who had the tickets for those seats came and asked security to ask her to leave. They were rewarded by her throwing up all over the seat and stairs so we got that nice smell the entire game. That's doesn't even bring up the fights and stuff that have become all to familiar in the last few years up there.

I see how peeps would be pissed that you pay all that money and it would suck to be treated like children, but sadly MANY peeps ACT like children which is why the rules become necessary. I'm sure peeps will disagree with me here, but it doesn't bother me at all.

No glass containers? Um that is a big one. Also a bit scary that they are banning tailgating except in designated lots. Wonder how many of those there will be.

Just saw the glass one. Not a huge deal. So you can't bring a glass cup. Meh

Plus I already mentioned the tailgate vs. non tailgate lots. Am a bit nervous to see how that will be organized. Should know relatively soon.

Some of the rules do seem sort of nitpicky, but I'm not going to complain as long as it helps clean up the environment. The last 3 years at the Stick were pretty rough with fan incidents (all 49ers fans from my experience).

good. idiots playing catch always hit cars. They should ban alcohol from tailgates all together. most tards just don't know when to stop drinking.

If we do get a Thanksgiving game, it would be great to have it at home, but I really hope we play @ Dallas on Turkey Day.

When I was walking into that last game at the 'stick I saw a security guard talking on his radio because some guy got removed before the game even started. What made it worse was that he got sent to jail but left his hot girlfriend stranded at the game.

LOL.

You have to be a special kind of stupid to get so drink before a game that you leave your hot girlfriend stranded and miss the last game ever at Candlestick.

hmm. Don't like the idea of banning tailgating. What is the bar/restaurant situation right by the stadium? Anything within walking distance? I know there are bars/restaurants in the new stadium, but i have a feeling those will be a zoo.

Yeah, it got to the point that i really did not even enjoy going to games anymore. Just a bunch of trash who can't handle their booze. Don't get me wrong, i like to go drink a fair amount and have a good time at the games, but i don't act like an obnoxious *sshole who just had his first beer. I'm thrilled with the new stadium. Won't be so apprehensive about taking my wife and my young son to the game. I welcome the wine and cheese crowd that i used to be around when my dad took me to games

Glass cup? Fuqin canucks. No glass bottles. Most good beer comes in a bottle. Going to have to drink Bud Light only in the lots. Also a good amount of liquor comes in glass bottles.

My truck hood would get slammed by a football about once a game lol. But that is pretty un-American to not be able to toss the pigskin around with your kid at a football game. This country ain't free no more.
