"The 49ers' first exhibition game is scheduled for Aug. 14 at home against the Broncos."

1.) I feel sorry for the Broncos players. All that built-up Nolan hate will be taken out on them.

2.) I want to see Alex carve up Nolan's defense. I don't care if it's against 3rd team scrubs. I would still be loving it.

3.) I want to see Alex carve up Nolan's defense some more.

4.) I hope we annihilate them.

5.) That would be sweet.

We get to find out just how much of a vindictive jerk Nolan is.
I am there!!
Only the fans care bout the Nolan thing, Him and the players could careless. Only thing i will be looking for is to see how/what the offense looks like sense it's a new system. Besides that really not much to take out of the 1st pre season game except looking at back ups

The Broncos players may not care, but the more Alex succeeds, the more Nolan looks like a failure at handling him. I want to see at least two TD's by Alex, and it would be awesome for one of them be a bomb.

Can I ask which part besides the part about handling Smith injury did Nolan mishandle Smith??

This wouldn't surprise me what so ever. At the same time I could see em going with his version of a flawless vanilla scheme. And failing miserably. Then claim to have gotten pressure. The nolan motto! It is preseason tho so it will be vanilla either way.

It would help if he could've forseen the possibility that Norv & McCarthy could land HC jobs if they succeeded as the 49ers' OC, which is why I wanted Ken Zampese when Nolan was deciding between him & McCarthy, someone who'd be here for more than 1 season.

Yes, here we go. I'm just saying to my knowledge and what I can remember, I don't see how all of this could fall all on the hands of Nolan.

I don't think anyone could have forseen the possiblities of Turner and McCarthy becoming HC, especially with our 5-11 and 7-9 records. But none the less you have to always be aware that your assistants will one day become HC's. But how can you place the entire blame of that on Nolan?? And I don't think Zampese's name was brought in until '07 season, when Lewis denied Nolan an interview with him, since it was so late in the off-season.
