Other than Jerry Jones and Mark Cuban I've never seen an owner speak to the media as much as Jed does. New generation of owners.

Kraft, Snyder and Isray talk a lot. And Isray especially, should really shut the hell up.

I just had a thought explosion..
Jed York is intentionally fostering a negative image of the 49ers because he knows the team thrives on an us-against-them mentaility. It's so brilliant I think it might just work.

Lotta folks here didn't like the Harbaugh era. But you have to give him credit for keeping Jed in check.......Which is probably why he's gone.

Well, viper , there is also the contingent that thot harbaw was a good organizer of already-on-the-team-talent, but that he was all hat and no cattle when it came time to actually coaching. Put me down with that group. When he showed us he couldn't design plays to score from the 5 yd line on 4 tries...unhhhh....why not frank left, frank right, frank up the gut, frank scores....well, a lot of us knew then we had a glad hander, looks good on paper, schidt for a coach. I wondered about that in yr one, suspected it in yr two, was pretty sure in yr 3, and knew damn well that was it in yr 4. AMF, harbaw, enjoy Michigan. you ought to do well there. And please, don't come back. No way he could have done it but Jed should have fired him after yr 3. It would have gotten filleted by firing harbaw then, but in the retrospectoscope, that would have been the thing to do.

New Levi stadium. After the anemic offensive output last year. Would you be satisfied with the status quo Harbaugh and hope to draw fans to the stadium to watch that offense. Or would you make changes to have a more exciting offense for fans to fill your stadium...?
A lot of money and promotion went into that new stadium. Calling for fans to come out to the new stadium, but a couple of those home games last year was putrid. No wonder Jed apologized on his tweet.

I think this has been our biggest collective complaint as a fan base...all this talent...not the desired results:
York: On-field reasons for coaching change
"You look at our offense last year," York said. "It wasn't I think where it should have been. I think we have better talent than what our results showed. And again, I am not the expert in terms of calling X's and O's, and writing plays and doing things like that, but I know that our players are equipped to go play the game and compete for championships. And we need to make sure that we're all in this thing together, and moving forward and giving ourselves a chance to ultimately host and win the Super Bowl this year."

I think it was an ACTUAL class move by Jed, choosing not to state that it was evident that change was necessary, but that Harbaugh was not open/able to change. I'd have said that in a heartbeat.
