The stadium is awesome. Not only does it look awesome but there is sooooo much to do there during the football game, hang out in all the sweet bars and isn't there some kind of cool club there? And all the tvs!!! You don't even need to be in your seat to watch the game. Brilliant.

Its also way better that it is in Santa Clara too. I mean lets face it San Francisco lost its allure years ago, silicon valley is where its at, and a majority the 49er fans are in the south bay anyway, so it is easier for them to get there, way better!

Also when you drive the 42 miles from SF to the stadium you get to drive by Brisbane, South San Francisco, San Bruno, Millbrae, Burlingame, San Mateo, Belmont, San Carlos, Redwood City, Atherton. Menlo Park, Palo Alto and East Palo Alto, Mountain View, and a little bit of Sunnyvale, and then bammo your in Santa Clara, just like that.

And that green space on top is environmentally friendly so there's that too.

Jed nailed it by building that stadium and bringing the San Francisco 49ers to sunny Santa Clara.

Haaaa, stoney just paid waaay to much for his tix, he HAS to defend this s**t stadium, in a totallly b******t location, with maybe 55% actual Niner fans in it.

RMu says it nicely..

I had to call the US last night to make some plans with old friends in the south bay area, after we got done with business and we started talking Niners..whoaa, there are some very unhappy Niners fans, and NOT just on NT..

you don't say...

Maybe I'm just a total f**king recluse, but I've yet to meet someone (especially a 49er fan) who doesn't think the last 6+ months have been a comedy of errors.
So "Winning with calls!?!" is our ultimate goal now huh? What ever happened to his rant Super Bowl or bust after JH was let go? He is such a little weasel!

Lol what a blinded delusional turd.

Dang.

Welcome to http://www.insultsareus.com

The comments by some posters actually make Jed York seem reasonably intelligent.

So you agree york is a self-loving idiot who probably hires people to clap when he walks into a room, you're just surprised to find people less perspicacious than him?

Yes I do say; it's pretty global in the unhappiness of Niner fans, especially local ones who have been the core fan base for so many years and feel they have been ripped off. I was just surprised by the rage comin thro the phone man.

Well for me there is a huge silver lining and I know it doesn't add up for all the more newer fans, but I had all the good times in person and traveling to see away games/playoffs/Superbowls..so I have them at least, and I'll just put on them top the new happenings and do like computers do when you copy a file to a location with the same name; "copy and replace all files"..

I will however watch every game this year and hope not to complain.. too much.

GO NINERS!!

No. I do not think that "York is a self-loving idiot who......."

I do get tired of the insults and name calling.

Oh that's cruel fister!

I'm just surprised a forward observer used a word with that many syllables.
How low can Jed drive ticket prices down?

Way too much? lol

All I know is it takes me 1/3 the time to get to the stadium and twice as fast to get home now, I have a cup holder, I breeze around the stadium now instead of fighting chest to chest through the walkways, and have had a blast at every game so far. Life is good. Boo f**king hoo for you if you have to piss and moan like a woman on the internet because your feelings are hurt about a f**king football stadium. Poor you and your game day experience Levi's is ruining for you. lol

I love this team so I don't care where they play so long as that SF logo is slapped on the field I'm getting there to see our team. Either you love to see the games or not is how I feel. I loved the Stick and I'm going to love Levi's. All I need to know is that my guys are playing there
York honestly makes me sick to look at; he's such an embarrassing jackass. He makes Jerry Jones look cool--and I wish that was me exaggerating for comedic effect but it's not.

Not sure how this veered toward a Levi's discussion but that's equally as bad. Went to three games this past season and it's awful. CalTrain down there and back takes 2 1/2 hours (and that's just one way) and feels like the middle of absolutely nowhere; the atmosphere is as sterile as I wish York's parents had been; the list goes on and on.

I'm willing to give Levi's a chance (even though it will never be anything remotely close to The 'Stick") but York has no chance; no clue. As long as he runs this team they'll suck. It comes from the top and the one personality strong enough to mask their bumbling utter ineptitude got booted because they were intimidated by him.
