Going to games or buying gear doesn't make you any more or less a fan than those who don't partake, but if you want some manner of change on the owners' part hurting the owner's bottom line might say something to them. Probably not, but who knows?
Problem is you have thousands of season ticket holders who dropped lots of money on SBLs and have no way of getting out from under them. They can't stop getting season tickets unless they want to eat thousands of dollars in SBL fees and they aren't able to sell them unless they take a huge hit on a loss. Jed honeydicked all of them. He got harbaugh to get his stadium passed and once it was built he threw him to the side
The miners were 9-2 when the stadium deal was announced in 2011. The niners were the talk of the nfl and our buzz was the highest it had been in years. It was the perfect time for Jed to finally get it done after years of failure
How do the SBLs work?

It's probably best he stays out of the lime light. When/if we get out of this mess, he should continue to keep quiet. Just write the checks and give me a winning football team.
I just want him to take the media beating like a man.

Santa Clara already gave him the money for the stadium and the fans have already bought the PSLs, he knows exactly what the fans can do at this point.

It's hard to imagine how we are gonna get out of this mess without the Yorks just selling the team altogether.
Jim Harbaugh had built a dynasty CALIBER team.... we fell short of winning due to some strokes of bad luck, but we were the most talented team in the NFL and pretty young for the most part.
And how is he rewarded? By talking behind his back and being embarrassed in the national media with everything from trade talks, leaking information and leaking bad things about his character and approach to coaching.
Who is going to work for that kind of a scum bag boss? Harbaugh dug this franchise up and helped them rise from the ashes... only to be bad mouthed and have his name dragged through the mud.
If YOU were a respectable coach that demanded respect, would YOU work for little bit Jed York?

Now, what I would like to know is in what context was that made? Was it on Eddie D's candidacy for the PFHF or the current debacle we are in?

You said man. I don't know how much better Harbaugh would of been with this years team, but I do know that the way York treated him was with any but class. Just an absolute weasel of an owner. Think of last years opening game and that ridiculous tweet. He already made up his mind on Harbs. Jed is a spoiled, egotistical, coward.

Given timing, it is in the context of the dumpster fire he is watching.

Jed really sucks, he has always sucked. Nobody has ever really liked him or his family. He's a POS. I hate seeing my team lose like this. I hate hiring our inept RZ play caller /Qb coach to be our new OC because Chud didn't want to come here and i am sure others didn't want to come here after all the public BS our FO and HC were slinging.
Hate all the jobs we have had Mangini do. Hate a lot of our drafts lately. We had a nice rise and unfortunately didn't get the damn thing done. If we had just one lombardi from the past few years i would be eating pie right now watching the season on DVD. This whole organization is a mess and Jed has never done anything to show me he is the guy to be CEO. We need a head of football operations. Let Jed be what he is. An overpaid owners son who gets to sit around the office and act like hes a silicon valley boss because he hires some ex silcon valley dudes. Let him stay the hell out of football decisions and that means not picking a Gm either if we ever change that position.

It was said today, so it could be both.

Yep, Jed is the classless one.

Montana has never struck me as a guy that follows the NFL all that closely post retirement.

Pretty sure it is cause of his HOF candidacy. Has nothing to do with what is happening with the team currently.

Is there any way that Eddie can buy the team back?
