The team quit on us yesterday....so I quit caring. It's over now. I accept it.

I remember this happening, but don't remember when. What quarter was it and what happened before this?

I found it. 3rd quarter the 49ers just went 3 and out.

On 3rd and 9, there was a delay of game penalty. Failed conversion on 3rd and 14. I'll try to pick up on what happened.

i think it had to do with once again the plays not getting off in time...not sure though why he was yelling at Boone...but was saying something of the effect that "you need to call it out f*cking quicker" or something.

I think you're right. But it's sad you have Roman to Harbaugh to Kaepernick in terms of calling the play. And then you have Boone to Martin and Kaepernick to identify certain looks of the D. And with the intention to wind the playclock to almost nothing...no wonder why we have so many delay of game penalties.

I have a clue as to why Kap and Boone spoke to each other on the sideline.

3rd Quarter. This is the 3rd and 9 play. Delay of Game. Notice the time from when Kap lifts his leg, which signals Boone to tap the MMartin, to snap the ball. There's a few things to notice here. Kap lifts his leg, JMart is looking at Boone for some reason. Boone sees Kap lift the leg. Boone then looks over to JMart to tell him something. Then Boone taps MMartin's leg to snap the ball.

They would fail to convert on the 3rd and 14. I'm not a lip reader but I can tell Kap said the word, "Faster". Not sure what else was said. The beginning of this GIF is the Raider with his helmet off.

it's pretty remarkable that this has not been shored up in the 4 years JH has been here....and sadly it probably cost them the SB against BAL.

It looks like "you have to call that play faster" then "I dont want to fight about it".... maybe?

Not sure. It's even harder to lip read from the GIF since it's jittery. I'm looking at the video stream and I can't tell.

That's what he was saying...with an F bomb dropped in as well...but now i understand why after you explained it.

Its like they ALWAYS have something over their heads going back to even last years offseason.

Crab. Aldon, Bowman, Aldon again. Harbaugh drama. Always SOMETHING going on hanging over the team.

There is just a part of me that wants to stop, start over a bit, get our bearings...and make another run at it. No playoffs means the postseason starts a month earlier. No All-Pro LB blowing up his knee in January.

Solid teams have a strong and cohesive team morale, an esprit de corps. The 49ers offense seems to lacks that.

Young, in reference to the 49er offense I believe, described the players as "broken."

Continual stress simply cannot be ignored; like it or not, that stress impacts the body, mind, and spirit.

I strongly feel that if we want to see growth and advancement on the offensive side of the ball, the working environment that 49er offensive players toil in must be improved, and improved drastically.

Really it's not Boone's fault. Harbaugh and Roman like to play beat the clock to get the play off. Yet another stupid trait that is characteristic of this flawed offense.
Kaepernick has been horrible from a combination of his own awful play -- bad throws, bad decisions -- and an awful offense in terms of scheme, calls, and underutilized and under-performing supporting personnel. We'll never see what Colin Kaepernick can become until he's out of a system that limits improvisation and instinctual play.

Kaepernick has just been one of a number of horrific pieces to a terrible awful offense. LMJ'd attitude before being cut, Crabtrees attitude, Gore's sense of "this is it with this team for me", Vernon and Boone's holdouts, Kilgore/Anthony Davis/Iuapti/Bowman/Willis/Culliver/Brock/Dorsey/Ian Williams/Skuta/Ward/Vance McDonald injuries... Then add on the coaching problems are the team is doomed. The flesh-eating piranhas in the media pounded the team and Harbaugh on a weekly basis, win or lose.

Overall, in addition for the team's list of problems, add on the McDonald case/SAVAGE media pressure & distraction with it, and Justin Smith's possible retirement and you find the team with seemingly insurmountable odds stacked against them.

I just hope we sort this all out this off-season... There's a lot of work to do to get it right.
Kaps first line is "I need you to be faster". I remember it was pretty clear while watching the actual game and watching the gif seems to confirm it. Not sure what he says after though.
