Can Staley start pounding weight gainer for the next few weeks?

Now this ain't good. Hope it's something he can overcome before the playoffs.
Welp this injury will really define the rest of the season.

They said he wanted to come back in but Kyle held him out so I'm sure he's fine and if this was a playoff game he would've been back in there.

Sounds like it's about as serious as Ward's groin injury a couple weeks ago.

Pride was hurt more than his groin imo. Dude had a rare bad game and was getting manhandled a lot.

Welp go out and get La'el Collins or someone who could step right in and give Trent Williams a rest for the next two games. This O-line got wasted!!! My god!!!

That would be so rad. I always wanted dude to get a ring
I can't believe how bad this O-line is without Trent.

gotta beef up this oline this offseason. This unit is just not built to pass protect when it's a predictable dropback ball game.

I can't believe how bad it is with him. He's all world and everyone else is all dung.

Give us the Lions O line and they still lose this game. You can't turn it over 4 times in 2 1/2 quarters against that team. Only one was on the OL.

Brock was off all game.

Ignoring that nearly every single one of those INT's was the byproduct of almost immediate pressure, the pressure in the backfield was continual, right off the snap, play after play. McKivitz got his ass beat all night long, whether at right or left tackle. A better OL at least gives Purdy some time to operate.

He only sees football through a QB-lense. Even on a team that passes the least in the NFL. Unless it's Patrick Mahomes. Then it's the OL's fault for a loss. But that's the only exception an OL is included in a win/loss.

Easy pal easy.... no more bickering. Just enjoy our success. We need positive energy to win today

Right? MVP QB + top 5 OL = these whiners are still whining.

"But NC said..."

Haha.
deflect deflect deflect ..good spin strategy

Hey I said the O line would kill us and I was wrong. It's OK I would rather win it all then be right. I do want to have some discussion on our line play however. I'm watching Kermit start to come back and that sucks.

I reserved judgement until week 8 but after those 3 straight losses and McKivitz getting killed starting week 1 against Pittsburgh, if someone told me in week 16 TrenchWarfare/Brandon Thorn would have us ranked in tier 2, #5 overall, I probably wouldn't have believed it.

TBF, I share YAC's hidden concerns as well. I don't necessarily fully agree with that ranking but in a year where we've seen every tier 1 OL bounce around, I can see why they'd be ranked that high right now...consistency.

My concerns aren't hidden. Pass protection is one of the worst in the league when Trent isn't protecting Brock's blind side. Without Trent this run game averages less than 4 yards per carry. Without Trent, Brock and CMC, this team is fighting for the 7th seed.

Well you and I know that. But for the crew in back who don't read or comprehend, I'll let you speak for yourself. I probably should have used the word "masked" instead because it's hard for many to see that weakness unless you're really looking for it.

Masked does sound like a better description. 👍

Well, s**t.

It's unbelievable how they've neglected the Oline! Esp. RT and center, and back-up tackle. Negligence.
