in absence of NC I've come up with my own, better tiers to predict team ranks, and they center around QB / HC, in which we are tier 1, but not overall #1, that is KC. Would anyone say KC has best OL? Now if you look at Reid and Mahomes okay we start to see why they are the dynasty..

KC used to have one of the best O-Lines, Philly has a really good O-line but we will see what that looks like without their all world Center this year.

I do believe HC/QB is much more important in today's NFL. However HC/QB has always been the starting point for Dynasty or Championship caliber teams not named Steelers or Ravens .

Command would pretend they are but everyone saw the SB which is why he was changing the spin to tier 1 IOL.

can KC really be a tier 1 when they hold everytime and give up a lot of pressures ... or is tier 1 based off of team wins ?

Agree, but I'd add that stability on the defensive coaching side is probably just a smidge below the HC/QB in terms of importance. I think KC and Andy has been able to win the Superbowl three times because of the defensive coaching consistency. Kyle's had several different defensive coaches in his three Superbowl's vs Andy.

I agree with Foerster and I think Foerster he is right...
'I get it.' Now, there's a line, and this is what I always say with offensive line play, and this is a cool discussion, I love this discussion, there's a line below which that with offensive line play that if you just drop a little bit below it, it's a gaping hole. All of a sudden, you're like, 'He can't block anybody.' And now we got a major problem. But as long as they're at that line and just above it, you can survive it and you can take care of them. We've got ways with our system. We can chip, we can do all sorts of things to help guys. Slide lines, double team, the best rusher on the team. There are so many mechanisms to help alignment. If a guy can't get open, if a guy can't catch the ball and run, that's where we have a problem. But in offensive line play, you have to be careful. You have to have those 6, 7, 8 guys that are just at that line or above.
---Chris Foerster
I think the only thing I disagreed with Foerster was where the line is drawn. I think the line was drawn too low for the playoffs. It was OK for the regular season, but once the team got regularly into the playoffs, it got dominated (for example, by Chris Jones) and I think ShanaLynch has adjusted that line as evidenced by the Puni pick. I hope.
Purdy was also incredibly effective when his offensive line kept the pressure away. The 49ers quarterback earned a 93.2 grade while throwing from a clean pocket. Only Josh Allen of the Buffalo Bills, Tua Tagovailoa of the Miami Dolphins, and Jared Goff of the Detroit Lions graded higher. His 125.4 passer rating in a clean pocket led all NFL quarterbacks.

From the article on the front page...I wish we had a better complete line.

I think Kittle would be a great coach. He can start as a TE/OLine coach for Kyle when he retires.

Founded in 2021 by NFL Tight Ends George Kittle, Travis Kelce and Greg Olsen, Tight End University was created to bring the Tight End community together for an immersive three-day program. Over the course of the summit, attendees are able to bond, collaborate with, and learn amongst their peers while participating in a variety of activities including film study, on-field drills, recovery, rehabilitation, and more. In addition to current players, TEU also features several retired legends who provide attendees with the invaluable opportunity to learn from some of the best to ever play the game.

Bring him in dirt cheap and see what's what.

I'd be good with that as well. Flourished at C under McDaniel

That's easy to say. It says multiple teams are interested though. So that means there is a market for him. You can't just say bring him in cheap.
We are struggling for salary cap to pay BA.

players like Connor Williams don't come cheap.
