I really wish that A.Davis would've retired before the draft so we could've used a high pick on an offensive lineman. Maybe even traded back into the 25-30 range.
Sign Mathis and for God's sake let Looney take the place of Marcus or Brandon. They are turrrrrible

Staley-Boone-Kilgore-Mathis- Looney?

Sounds a hell of a lot better than
Staley-Boone-Kilgore-Scrub1-Scrub2

Haven't even hit the first preseason game yet and we!re already replacing guys?

And looney at RT? Seriously?

I hope so. Baalke always pages the envelope with our players, there are clearly better linemen in free agency but he insists on letting the right side scrubs be our weakness. I'm not pessimistic at all but between the Rams and the Shehawks I see at least 3 forced fumbles and 9- 11 sacks in 4 games. If we don't get proven capable o-line help we'll be max protecting more or keeping Reggie or Kendall in to block and release to be a receiving threat. #Anthony come back
Looking like it will be another year where our OL is crap and we have to give Kaep another year to work on things... just a feeling I have had for a while...

You forgot about the screens and rb pass routes already ?

F**king Right! Sign Evan or Long they're definitely a step up. F**king Baalke sucks with offense he's built really good defensive depth at every position. But his offense picks suck, who's a Baalke guy on offense that is really good? He's so arrogant to think we'll really go deep January with the right side o-line. I'm so pissed with Trent the last thing Kap needs is to get happy feet because of the o-line issues. #BUY GOOD PLAYERS TRENT BAALKE

if they like any three of Looney, Martin, Thomas, Tiller and Farrell we should be fine until Kilgore is back.

Rember last year?

Yup. That's why I'm encouraged. The "Looney Sucks" crowd needs to do their homework. He had a couple ugly plays in the same game. One of them was caused by JMart whiffing on a double team. That was enough to get a couple writers and a bunch of fans on his case. I reviewed all of his plays from last year. He was solid. Not awesome, but dependable. With that experience, and war Tomsula described as an impressive offseason, he should be better.

Martin was assignment sound and had good feet and hand placement. His struggles were almost all related to nor being strong enough. He's obviously stronger now.

Brandon Thomas has never been a road - grading run blocker, but he had LT feet coming out in the dtaft. He's a question mark with a lot of talent.

Farrell is young and was decent last year.

I don't know much about Tiller, but he was a PS guy that the staff liked enough to put on the 53 late last year.

I seriously hope they have something to counter the pressure they are going to get while the OL is getting acquainted. If the D can hold up for the first couple games and the offense can find a rythym, we might actually have a fighting chance this season.
Cut:
Miller Patrick T
Sean Hooey T

Add:
Anthony Collins RT
I know he play bad last year however in 2013 he was pretty good Pears was never good. And he's our last hope smh.. Pears will not cut it at RT..

Evans Mathis RG
Marcus Martin is not a RG he is a Center thats it.. Joe looney is a backup lineman. Evans Mathis can come in right now and make a difference.

With No Oline we wil be picking in the Top 10 of the 2016 NFL Draft
Those guys aren't for sure fixes

That's the only way to counter , also getting to the line faster can delay the rush with hard counts

The o line wasn't upgraded from last year. But this might be one of those situations where they collectively play better towards the end of the year. Marcus Martin still has lapses, Looney isn't lighting the world on fire at center, Pears is pears. Even if we signed mathis RT is a huge problem.

I rather the o-line with Mathis than without, at least we can keep a extra blocker in to help Mathis on that side. By the end of the year we will be out of contention with this o-line. Kap with happyfeet = below .500 and we are better than that as a team just not as a o-line.
Gotta agree. Nothing else will matter if the oline repeats last years performance. I'd love to eat crow on this.
