why? cc has good posts

The PL crew sticks with each other no matter what i guess

You realize he isn't a parking lot guy, right? You are actually attacking your own. How about convince him he's wrong or ignore his post if it bothers you so much.

this is true, he isn't. but he does set himself up by consistently whining about the same goddamn thing all the time. it's like he got cheated on and is going through the process of deception and guilt lol

How about ignore it. The team is 0-7. I can see why he's frustrated. I don't like reading it either, but that is how he feels. This thread is about a brand new HC who is 0-7. There are basically two points of view:

a. You believe he has a crappy roster and needs time
b. You believe he was the wrong person for the job and shouldn't be 0-7.

or

c. He is a good HC but calling plays is too much for a HC and he needs an OC.

Have fun.
I guess I have to "ignore" the entire forum, then, since I read the exact same posts from the exact same posters, on every thread I'm interested in every single day.
"Ignore" is not so easy, either, since it simply facilitates skimming through spam for pages and pages and pages, it doesn't eliminate the need to wade through all the spam..

They showed Justin Timberlake in attendance on the jumbotron.

How about a combination of a. and c?

I disagree. As you will have already found out.
Serious question - not meaning to be intentionally cantankerous:

What about spam? The same post, with the wording slightly changed, posted dozens, sometimes hundreds of times daily on multiple threads?

When I get on to read something interesting, I often have to skip through pages and pages of worthless back and forth tripe. The value of the forum is substantially lowered for me because of this.

do you believe better modding would help this?

I do

I have to agree. I sometimes wonder if there isn't some financial incentive for the web site that is related to the number of visitors the forum has or how many posts it receives. Not saying the money goes to the Mods but maybe it helps to increase ad revenue in some way. So rather than step in and shut down people who start obsessing over one thing over and over and over again, they just let them continue to rant and drag down the already suspect quality of the forum because it is in the web site's financial interest to do so. I honestly don't know how any of this works in terms of ad revenue and all that but it certainly would explain a lot.

I will work hard to post more to your liking moving forward.

Or it can be a mix of all or none of those things. I don't know if Shanahan is right for the job or not (nobody does), but I don't like losing, don't like being 0-7, don't like the team looking like garbage every week, and don't think that Shanahan should be given a free pass just because ownership was forced to give him a 6 year contract due to their previous inepitude.

Generally repeat visits by the same users does not generate ad revenue.

For ad revenue you want "unique" aka new visitors. A forum with 1000 people that each post once raises more money than a forum that has 500 people that each post 10 times.

Then there are users that found the site organically or not (I forget the term). Like someone typing in 49erswebzone.com raises revenue differently then someone googling it and clicking on it. Google punishes websites that have lots of links in their google searches, which is why Webbie pushes for "original content" on the front page, ti helps with google searches and generating revenue.

The forums in general probably don't generate much revenue, instead its the front page that likely generates the vast majority of revenue simply because of how Ad revenue works.

No. Nothing like that. At all. This is irrelevant to the thread so if you want to pursue the discussion send me a pm.
I believe he is the right guy. The roster sucks is one problem. I think he needs and experienced assistant to help with hc duties. And Id prefer to see an experienced DC to run the defense. I don't want to switch to 3-4 now that we started to convert to 4-3 but I don't think Saleh is the answer
I think this season would be going differently if the falcons won the SB, Kyle clearly isn't over that and the pressure to win has become too much for him to handle

Ehhh. Sounds like a reach. I think hes as excited as I am to get new toys next off season though he doesnt love being winless(Knowing the fans don't either).

Especially since it wasn't his fault.....No fault in trusting your MVP QB having a historic year to know that you absolutely can't take a sack. That one play set everything in motion.
