Your quoting a link that we can find on the front page?

Thanks for this refreshing post. now this is real football stuff we can talk about instead of the repetitive moan

dude is a great offensive mind, he's a rookie HC much like the rest of our team (rookies). Gonna take time

Yes, why not? He mentioned those that like to "make up your own stories", so I don't see a problem.

Brilliant mind; he needs some experienced coaches on his staff. When Harbaugh was hired, the first thing I noticed that his coaching staff was stacked and had experience in almost every position. (except for I wanted Shaw instead of Roman as the OC)

I can't say the same for Kyle. Again, brilliant football mind but he needs a more experienced coaching staff.

agree,,, starts with a new dc and coaches who can teach our guys to tackle. that has nothing to do with youth in my opinion

In his defense, by the time we were able to make his hiring official, all of the best assistants were already taken. Hopefully we can see upgrades across the board this offseason. New O line coach would be a great start.

I highly doubt the oline coach is the problem with our line. Look at Cable in Seattle. He is considered one of the best OL coaches in the league, yet Seattle oline is horrendous. Why? Bad coaching? No, bad players. Just like us. Tomlinson, Fusco, Kilgore all stink.

I agree, Jon Benton is a respected O-Line coach and I think we just don't have the talent at guard and center to have a chance to succeed. I would love to see Shanahan add an OC/Run game coordinator though. Aaron Kromer who I wanted badly as O-Line coach, maybe he could be brought in as a offensive coordinator?

I do hope that Kyle does add an OC to help him with game planning.

few if any have called for his firing. if jed fires him after this year. i really believe jed has no choice but to either sell the team or file papers to dissolve.. no decent coach would ever want to come here given our track record.. of firing coaches after one year. IF jed fires him , which will not happen. but major changes must be made with either players or asst coaches. you have to give fans something to draw them back next year

two good posts.. i really really think cuz of the way he at times plays guys out of position and goes soft.. we need a new dc. as many have said. the good ones were gone by the time he took over so we will monitor that one

You've been watching different games than me, I guess. When I talk about coaching, penalties are my first issue. Penalties are a direct result of coaching. How is this team doing in penalties this year? How many games could have gone the other way with fewer penalties?
