Unfortunately for you, you don't get to decide who is a fan here.
Exactly. I'm sure there are plenty of fans on this board that hardly ever post (like me) that appreciate the ones that do post and we take them all seriously, whether we agree or disagree with their thoughts. Just because someone is the loudest, doesn't make them the smartest. And just because someone is critical of the head coach, it doesn't make them less of a fan.

To those of you that post here on both sides of the Kyle argument, I appreciate you.

All true but when these entitled posters do nothing but regurgitate their spew over and over and over like a troll on roids...if only the mods would IP Ban

When a coach makes a mistakes in one game, you call him out. When he makes the same mistake in the next game, you call him out. When he makes the same mistake in the third game, you call him out. That's not trolling. That's pointing out the obvious.

when in those same 3 games, posters blame players in week 1, then refs in weeks 2, then injuries in weeks 3….that's closer to trolling. And maybe those fans should be held accountable instead…

Well said. It's also sad to see posters who are critical of Kyle don't attack those that support him yet those that support him attack those who are critical. The name calling, calls for banning accounts etc etc. my favorite though is asking who would replace him. That one is my favorite. Names are offered and that generates another round of insults. Not all pro Kyle posters do it but it's a lot of them.

I think too many people confuse disagreement with attacking. This forum is for discussion so there's bound to be different opinions. When you engage another poster and point out why you disagree that's not attacking the individual. When you start calling them names or asking for bans then it becomes an attack.

I don't see that many actual verbal attacks on individuals but there are some. That's when the mods should step in.

I noticed the same thing. Obviously, I don't see all of the posts, but some of the posters that defend Kyle get pretty personal with the attacks. I'm all for protecting/defending 49er players/coaches but I don't understand personal attacks against fellow 49er fans when all they want to do is vent.

So quit paying older veterans that are far more prone to injury, trade them for more draft picks, and be Far more willing to play your younger guys, and you won't be so injured, you won't be running into a wall, and you'll have a far bigger stream of young talent. Quit thinking you can't win without this veteran or that veteran. I know I know you'll choke on this, but Bill Walsh Always got rid of his veterans before they oou r the fans thought he should, and none of them played better after they were traded, and that robust stream of youngsters gave him a high enough percent of winners to stay on top until long past his retirement.
So you're saying don't keep anyone past their first contract due to future injuries ?

I don't see where I said that. That's not an old veteran, and your young veterans are likely the backbone of your team, but since you brought it up, on another tack, if they're a Diva and demand more than they are worth, their percent of the cap amounts to too many eggs in one basket to gaWemble on their still unestablished performance or their health.
you pretty much said it without having to say it.. Which Vets are you talking about then. we don't have that many long in the tooth vets..

You want to get rid of Trent ?

Well, when you leave yourself standing there stark naked, and he holds you up on an already agreed to new contract to finish his career, and he's agreed to not do that again, and he knows you have no bench, then no, you can't. That's mismanagement to get into that situation, and now you will be paying a kings ransom for a guy very likely spending significant time on the bench, and then retiring walking away with all your new guaranteed money. Please reread the part of keeping a robust stream of youngsters coming in. Yes, I'm talking about Trent, but you've got to plan ahead.

I'm tired of the "we are injured" excuse. That's not gonna fly this year. Deebo is playing like crap. Warner started the season excellent but the last few games has not made that much of an impact. The running game was fine before CMC came back. Brock is not trusting the line and holding the ball too long. Aiyuk was garbage before the injury (although I think he would have turned it on as the season progressed). The D is vanilla (again) and just not clutch in the 4th quarter. Same can be said about the overall offense.

This team is just not that great, or underperforming. This year has not been because of injuries.

Some things I look forward to:
1) Greenlaws return
2) CMC getting in better football shape
3) Mooney Wards return? Maybe?
4) Deebo hearing the criticisms and hopefully responding well to them
5) Potential better line play when Felicity Hoffman returns

The warner thing is interesting. I think he's a really good player but I knew that without Greenlaw his play would drop. Warner has always had excellent linebackers start beside him since he's come in. This is the first year hes had to do it all

Take away a big piece and any unit will suffer. Warner has played well but he's being asked to do more than usual and it's wearing him down. Take away Bosa and the D line looks terrible. Take away Williams and the O line is one of the worst in the league.

One other huge concern I have is the lack of TE depth. Did any backup TEs catch a pass last week? Maybe they did and I forgot, but man it's a steeeep dropoff when George is out. That is not good. Baltimore is a good example of having 2 competent TEs. They're not Gronks or Kittles, but very capable.

Lmfao new accounts...new accounts everywhere!!!!

I've been on this board for many, many years. I had an account years ago but then the board was rebranded or something, I don't remember, so I created a new account. Just because someone doesn't post doesn't mean they're new.

You should have started with "Kyle is my favorite and I hope he never gets fired" and he would have welcomed you with open arms and referred to you as a beacon of light in a thread full of darkness…

You should start by saying "Let me whine and cry about this". People would probably take you more serious.

I like the Lions (as well as Campbell and Ben Johnson) but they have to win the Super Bowl (and I hope they will) to be labeled as such.
