Trent Taylor may just be my favorite pick from the #49ers 2017 class. Size be damned, he's incredibly reliable and creates easy separation. pic.twitter.com/VlXTDVwLJX

A lot of folks are trying to find the next Welker, or a Cole Beasley even more recently. If you're elite in the quickness department, you can win the majority of one on one battles in creating separation and Taylor is pretty remarkable in that sense. Though their times are similar, Taylor on the field looked even quicker than Kerley did coming out of college.
Taylor's initial challenge is learning and perfecting the entire NFL route tree.

Agreed...many of these rookies now have proven veterans in front of them to teach them; Kerley is an excellent example of that.

He kinda reminds me of a slightly slower McCaffery in how he moves
Just hope he can get those routes down to a Wes Welker style of prefection

Yeah, who cares if he is quick, or can separate and catch....can he block?
Signed, Trent Baaalkie.
So, pumped for a non TB styled receiver, who seems to catch naturally.

This guy is a pesky little f**ker. He had DBs completely turned around and tripping over themselves at the Senior Bowl.
Lynch was on the radio and said Trent Taylor was one of Kyle's draft crushes. Sounds like his chances of making the team are favorable.

It has become apparent that all of our offensive choices were Kyle's. I wonder who was the main evaluator for the defensive players. Lynch's role seems to be the guy who gets the final list and then gives each of those players the Lynch personality checklist conversation test.

I was half joking before the draft and I predicted Lynch would get the first half of the draft (defense) and Kyle would get the second half (offense) and next year, they'd switch. I'm not half joking anymore...it may very well end up exactly like that! Ha

Could he be the WR version of Danny Woodhead?

Nice, these little pesky quick-twitch and speed-demon field stretchers could give Seattle fits:
XWR: Pierre Garçon; Marquise Goodwin
YWR: Jeremy Kerley; Trent Taylor
ZWR: Aldrick Robinson

We still need that WR to grab a jump ball here and there when the game is close and it's getting tough to move the ball. Wonder if the CFL guy Rogers will be ready.

Kyle kept 6 WRs in Atlanta, so you can plug in another guy....KD Cannon.
