Don't know if this is a 49ers fans are flakey and only show up when we're good kind of thing or if the stadium is THAT out of the way or expensive that nobody goes to the game, but I don't know how we're supposed to have any kind of home presence with an empty stadium that can't make noise or pump our team up.

You had LZRD over and didn't invite me?

2. Its pretty hot and I'm sure lots of people don't fancy baking in the sun.
3. The team sucks and is widely expected to suck this season. Lots of people that don't want to bake in the hot sun in a generic stadium paying for overpriced food, watching a super young team getting boat raced by opponents.
The stadium will still suck but as the talent improves and the team starts winning, fans will return, until then.......enjoy the leg room?
All this and more. You'd think mgmt woulda figured our fairweather fans might need a little more than wifi to keep them seated. The stadium looks pitiful compared to the likes of Dallas, Minn, Zona. Not that we need a dome but if you can come up with grass on the roof, couldnt you figure out a design that would keep the fans comfortable and lock in noise at the same time ? Not only is it empty, but the design doesnt even allow crowd noise to be contained.
Embarrassment

Why would I throw away 50$ to watch a 💩Team with Brian hoyer as qb ? In 95 degree heat and pay 14$ for a beer!!! Thanks but no thanks. Sit on my own couch drink my own beer in my A/C house on my 60 in tv. At least I can change the channel and watch a diff game (Sunday ticket) but hey to each his own . U keep throwing away your $ and in lining Jed's pockets 50$ at a time

To be honest....right at the start of the game the crowd was pretty good and rowdy. People were still filing in but I was pretty pleased at the start. But I've never seen the energy sucked out of a building so quick with the Foster injury. Then we started to play like poop combined with the heat and people tried to find shade.

"But there's solar and craft beer and you can order s**t with your cellphone, what more do you want?" This was a stadium built for hobnobbing for business and showing off technology, watching football was an afterthought.

Not just watching it but playing in it as a home field by the team has gotta suck. Dumb Tech fans don't know when to cheer, selling their tickets to opposing teams in droves. Remember the Eddie game last year??
Jed did a disservice to the faithful in the city by moving it down to santa clara so it's closer to his house.

I could've had my buddy's club seats and green lot 1 parking pass, all for free....told him thanks but no thanks, no desire to waste my Sunday driving, parking, baking in the sun to watch this team lay an egg. Gotta say, good call on my part.

tech fans don't even give a s**t anymore. All the tech jobs are in SF nowadays. I honestly don't even know who goes to the games anymore these days.

It was apparently designed by some total s**t for brains who had no idea how direct sunlight would roast 3/4 of the stadium until October. Either that or Jed York is a sadomasochist.

lol hes clearly not a 49ers fan. Free club seats to opening Sunday of a new, promising era, and he's worried about heat, and his personal time?

Considering I've been with them through thick and thin for 40+ years including 20+ as a STH, yes, I am.
But I'm one that's not going to pass on my kids' sports and other activities to waste my entire Sunday to go watch this clown show. When they start to resemble a competent NFL team I very well might reconsider.

when I had season tix to the niners at candlestick and they sucked we really looked forward to a bad ass pre and post game tailgate session near the water. It made the sh***y game much more bearable.
I'm from Sacramento. I know hot. When your on the sun side in mid day sun it's a sort of an amplified hot. It's brutal. You people who downplay it are full of ****.
