Considering I've been with them through thick and thin for 40+ years including 20+ as a STH, yes, I am.

But I'm one that's not going to pass on my kids' sports and other activities to waste my entire Sunday to go watch this clown show. When they start to resemble a competent NFL team I very well might reconsider.

Don't blame you, i can barely watch that garbage on tv.

lol hes clearly not a 49ers fan. Free club seats to opening Sunday of a new, promising era, and he's worried about heat, and his personal time?

I've been to many games in club, yeah they're nice but nothing spectacular, not wasting my Sunday when I'd rather go watch my kids' games.

I'm so sick of spoiled niner fans complaining about the stadium. Nothing we can do....we don't have a new stadium coming so just start showing up if you want to talk. I'll gladly take a mediocre stadium in the heat of Santa Clara then deal with my team moving to LA or Vegas. Stop b***hing

You dont have to defend yourself. I would go see my kids games too over the Niners. Let's face it. They aren't fun to watch whether its in person or on TV. I was a season ticket holder for many years in the 80s and 90s and it was a blast. But now? Not so much.

Anyone who has gone to any of the other new stadiums in this league can tell you, this stadium is meh. No amount of insults of the fans panning this lame ass stadium will change that.

Haha, here you took a shot and me and I'm one of the few here who thinks Levi's is fine as far as a place to watch a football game, just check the pinned stadium thread...and even though wished the could've worked out something in SF I supported the move to SC. But eff anyone who thinks my fandom requires me to forego being with my family to instead go watch this team step on their d**ks all f**kin day.

A couple times over the years I could've upgraded to seats on visitor (sun) side, but I liked the 2:30 or so shade we got in upper box on 49ers side so stayed put.

Then why is the stadium just as empty in October, November, and December?

I was responding in this thread as to why the crowd was so light today, not generally speaking. So if I should have been responding generally, then you can disregard my posts. Yes, the horrendous product on the field is why there are normally a ton of empty seats.

But opening day? Thats the heat. Sorry. There was more excitement going into this season opener than there has been for the last couple. And those games had more full crowds.

The difference? The heat.
