Scouts usually don't stick around at pro-days for specialist workouts but they did yesterday for @Utah_Football P Mitch Wishnowsky. West coast scouts say it was best punter workout they've seen in years. Similar leg talent to @Seahawks rookie All-Pro Michael Dickson. #Aussie

But but but, he would have been there in the 6th or as a UDFA!

Hell yeah we'll send the punt unit out then shift to an I formation.
Well my weekend was off to a fantastic start. Then I saw we drafted a punter in the 4th.... Why again did we let Andy Lee walk??
Dude's a niner, but a punter here is going to make him polarizing unless he is consistently pinning our opponents. The first shank or short punt, man o'man will he catch heat.
Trade up for a punter? Lol wtf
Being able to "Flip the Field" can be a major factor in close Games. Could be a weapon - don't know if he would have been available later, so I'll withhold criticism for that.

Does he perform Kickoff duties as well?

Sounds good to me.
Very pleased that Stoney kicked off this thread.

My campaign to talk this guy up is now a reality.
But to be fair he came through the RayGuy Prokick programme run by an elite Aussie punting academy that is making big waves.

Still in shock he was taken so early but am stoked he is with us.

Just hope Santa Clara get no Aussie reporters embarrassing themselves with stupid questions.

He was a position of dire need and he wouldn't have been available at our next pick. He's a day one starter which is more than we got from our 4th round picks the past few years.

Can't wait for long snapper in the 5th
So glad we drafted him before the Raiders.

Not sure about that. Take a look at the leagues rookie MVP and all pro last year was taken in the 5th.

I think KS was sick of poor field position.
