"More than 180 alleged arsonists have been arrested since the start of the bushfire season, with 29 blazes deliberately lit in the Shoalhaven region of southeast NSW in just three months."
They should all go to prison for a long, long time.

I would only charge them if they weren't trying to exterminate spiders.

You are not wrong. Probably most are mentally unwell and need to be put in a psych hospital for a very long time

Yes it is pretty full on at the moment. We have had hardly more then one or two glimpses of blue sky in Sydney since the begging of December as our city is covered in smoke and haze from the fires. There are even fires flaring up in bits of suburban bush land around where I live in Sydney suburbs. In the bush it is much worse. Around 1000 people have lost their homes with some entire towns almost wiped out in my state. 20 people dead. It is the worst I have seen it. We have just had some firefighters from California come over to provide some relief to our local guys. This is much appreciated.
To give you an idea of the scale of the fire image the map of England. The fire front stretches from the coast of Southern England to Newcastle which is around 50 miles from the border of Scotland. Roughly around 1000 miles of fires on our East Coast.
I'm so very sorry. California understands what you're going through. Brutal!
An incredible area has been burned. The comparison graphic above doesn't even account for areas burned in the states of Queensland and Victoria.
Not meant to insult but the Australian fires just caused half a billion dollars of damage today...in comparison the 2018 CA fires caused 400 Billion in damages.
EDIT: What Goatie said.
This article with photos gives you a better idea of the scale of the fires in Australia. It has an overlay map of Australia on the US
https://www.news.com.au/technology/environment/the-size-of-australia-shocks-america-in-bushfire-map-comparisons/news-story/164589ea8d6e2f339340cc45ae671ebf
FOR CONTEXT: Fire icons are for locations. The size of the icons does not equate to the literal size of the fires.

The map icons on some of the maps are only indicative of where fires are rather then their size. The below article from the BBC addresses this issue. The last map is accurate as to locations and area of burns. The scale is still immense. It would run close to entire West Coast of the US.

Anyone else noticing how he is changing up the kick rotation everytime? That one the guy fumbled looked like a 60 yard spiral versus end over end. I love it

Is this really a weak leg thing or a Hightower call?
Either way, we're lucky it didn't bite us in the ass.

It is Hightower. Mitch has regressed from his stats in college. He is being coached to be too conservative. Same with KOs. He is being coached to kick them short and let the returners stop them closer to the line but it isn't working. If he was kicking them short and it was an issue wouldn't they have Gould in to do the KOs? If he was then it would be a weakness on Wish's leg but it is not.
Hey hey, ho ho, Hightower has got to go

They ask him to kick it to the goal line.
