Skule took guys to school in Staley's absence. Let's hope Greenlaw lays down the law on the opposing offenses with Kwon on the shelf.
Sucks to lose a guy like Kwon but all jokes aside hopefully Dre steps up in a huge way. Love his story so hopefully it only gets better from here.

Pretty good for being thrown to the wolves in first NFL game. He's gotten better.
We probably have to look more at who will take over Dre's spot and hope they dtep up (Mark and/or Azeez)

We struggled stopping Tampa's run as soon as Kwon got ejected. But it was WEEK 1,
We just need Greenlaw to be Solid, he doesn't have to be as good as Kwon

Another great story like Al-Shareer and Greenlaw is a good football player. 4 year starter in the SEC and a captain. Just need him to be solid and not make to many mistakes

They'll have to promote Elijah Lee from the PS.

Remember when Greenlaw stopped that guy at the college party preying on an intoxicated woman? He's gonna dominate and that's gonna be one of the super bowl feature stories they do.

Azeez Al-Shaair or Mark Nzeocha at SAM LB, with Lee able to play all 3 LB spots.

Let's gooo young stud !!!!
Exactly. He played almost the entire game and wasn't a liability. I hope he knows the scheme well enough by now to step right in and play great. I didn't expect him to be good, honestly wasn't a fan of the pick initially. But I WANT to be wrong about him. Hope he absolutely lights it up.
To re-state some numbers I posted back up in this thread, and support the idea that Greenlaw will be fine:
PFF rating for Greenlaw in run defense is 55. Not great but not terrible either. His coverage grade is an acceptable 61.
Kwon's run defense was a very low 38. Coverage was an exceptional 81.
So we lose a bit in coverage but gain a good deal in run defense where Warner also has not excelled.
On balance, better run support, not quite as good in coverage. Saleh can scheme better coverage.
I love how Greenalw accelerated and got his first sack on Murrey, so if he's not so good in coverage, I'd blitz him and make him flush Wilson out of the pocket. Have Warner do a majority of the coverage duties. In other words, have Greenlaw as the 5th man in a five man rush, or have him zone blitz. Keep Dre out of coverage duties as much as possible. If you need coverage, take him out and put a safety or a corner out there in his place and play nickel and force Seadderall run the ball - or have Midget scramble for yardage. In running, I hope somebody can put a good lick on Midget and make even his hair hurt.
