Bosa has 5 hits on love

Right. They should just give all $$$ to him. The rest are missing in action.

The problem with hits is they are often ruled as roughing and achieve the opposite goal.
I would line up Armstead at big LDE on 1st down and start Kinlaw at DT next to Hargrave and Bosa at RDE. I'd bring in Chase Young mostly on passing downs. Then on passing downs kick AA back inside with Chase Young at DE

I have a weird gut feeling either Chase Young or/and Randy Gregory really help contribute in this game. We need at least one of them to step it up NOW!
IMO we have to at least sack Goff 2-3 times, especially get to him and bring him DOWN early.

I really expect Hargrave to have a big game as a pass rusher against the Lions third string LG. This is the game he's gotta show he is worth that money!

This is the way.
Lions RBs and TEs hardly ever chip or are asked to protect. They are arrogant about their OL and don't think they ever need help. If we can beat 1-1s it's going to be a long day for Goff.

I wouldn't be surprised to see something like this. Although, I'd have SJD instead of Kinlaw next to AA.

If they do our DL needs to wreck them to where don't even want to run a route anymore. I know Bosa can take over games and I hope he does these next 2 games.

However if we get 2-3 sacks late that usually means they are passing because we are way ahead

This is actually a very viable strategy imo. If Gibbs/Laporta wants to chip Bosa, have Bosa completely take them out of the play. Goff is not shy using Gibbs as a checkdown and taking that away would allow Greenlaw/Warner to drop back and take away the intermediate, not having to worry about a late checkdown to Gibbs in the open field. Sounds like a waste of a good pass rusher, to have Bosa take out Gibbs/Laporta, but SF should be able to rely on their DTs to apply pressure.

They'd be dumb to keep that mentality with 3 injured OL but I could totally see them doing just that because it's been their M.O. for 1.5 years now.

Time to dominate the trenches and dictate this game.

I'm thinking Goff gets pressured In to throwing a couple of game changing Ints today.
Now that Arik A got rid of the rust from last game, I expect him to dominate the interior line in this game. If we dominate the edge to contain the run, game is over for the Lions. That being said, it's ok if we don't get many sacks as long as we're producing so many 3 and outs.
