I will never believe that the NFL officials are told to call more penalties against one team than the other. The NFL is too big to risk a scandal like that. However I suspect that the league office may have a conference call before these big games and alert thr officials to watch for certain types of infractions or maybe be more lenient on others. PIs are penalties that can be real game changers so I would hope they do like I've seen most of the year where they only call the really obvious ones.

KC v SF SB was 100% skewed in favor of KC

Forget the holding and look at other plays

1st half kittle called for OPI on a massive deep pass
Absolutely ticky tack call

Meanwhile KC got away with murder that game...it was BS
I recently saw a stat that talked INTs being reversed by the refs and Patrick Mahomes leads the league with 54, next closest is Brady with 27.
Better play a lot better. No fooling around in this game. We need some of the obvious holding calls they do too. They certainly do it. But it's not called.

They typically give him a new set of downs for that. You can't have a bad Patrick Mahomes play. Not allowed.

D line plays like it's payed and we win or this team is gutted next year

Listening to Crosby's take on controlling Mahomes sheds a little light on why the line has been so underachieving this year. Crosby said it all about those 4 guys playing as one, and with all the new and late additions it's not surprising they haven't gotten on the same page yet. I believe that finally changes Sunday.

Yes, I believe them being acquired late has been a little bit of a factor, along with the fact that run defense probably isn't the strong suit of Chase, Javon, or Randy Gregory.

A good chunk of those guys are free agents after this game, so that position group may get reshuffled either way.

Now this unit WAS good enough. They played their asses off.

Sure did. Though again how come Chris Jones can make a play to change the game and nobody on our defense can?

Fair question. Probably because they don't let Bosa have a free rush in the A gap.
