Probably one of the best 49er playoff games. This is what will be when shanny and lynch take us to the playoffs and all the whining will stop.

I'm fully erect thinking about this game.
But then then I think of the Giants game the week after.

That was my first game ever at candlestick. Crowd was crazy loud all game. Have never experienced the same energy since that game. Hopefully we can start getting back to that this Sunday.

What a great game, Alex came up big time. I always think back to Ted Ginn getting hurt and missing the NFC Championship against the Giants. If he makes that game we're in the Super Bowl.

And such an amazing out of the blue season. I don't think anyone was expecting that type of season for the first year of the Harbaugh era.

Remember, without benefit of training camp.

A great game.
It was even a better celebration than any other playoff win under harbaugh, even the falcon game to go to the super bowl.
It was so special it's up there with Dallas '94, Green Bay '98...

Yeah, because of the collective bargaining agreement holdout. Sherman is indicating that the NFLPA wants more control over player movement like the NBA. That's going to push both towards a deadlock and holdouts - just like 2011 - I believe.
but back to the Saints game - I hope we do make the playoffs.

I've seen the Niners win the big one but this is the most exciting win I've ever watched. Watched it with some Niners buddies and when we won my buddy's cousin down the block heard us celebrate.
'98 is close to my heart but having Alex score on that bootleg only to give away the lead seconds later and marching back down with barely any time....the highs and lows in such a short time span were ridiculous.

Come on folks, this was 2011. 2012 was Packers at home when Kap went nuts and then comeback in hotlanta.

Playoff games (especially 2nd round divisional) are usually played in January of the following calendar year. This is common knowledge
The Niners-Packers game you're referring to happened in January 2013
