Why didn't we do a better job defensively against the Ravens?

East coast game. In the rain. With injuries. Against the hottest team in the NFL. Held them to 3 points in the 2nd half. Offense gives up 7 points on the turnover. Our offense scores three points in the second half, and you complain about the defense???

Giving up 180 yards on the ground is not acceptable. Hope that doesnt become our standard for playing baltimore.

Disappointed in 1 sack in 22 drop backs as well. We average 3 for that number of drop backs.

He has been sacked a total of 6 times in his last 7 games.

So you are saying our d is equal to bengals texans rams as far as sacks go?

I don't think our defense could play much better. I thought they did great. But, man, the Webzone really struggles with opposing points of view. Everybody gets shouted down as a "hater" or they "clearly didn't watch the game" or "posting out of emotion". Have to walk on eggshells if you post any level of criticism. Whereas people can emotionally post "we're the best in the NFL" and not get checked.

Dudes. If you disagree, it doesn't make you right and them wrong. These are just opinions. It's not that serious.

Most of that was Lamar Jackson and their gimmick offense hiding the ball. Ingram didn't do much of anything running the ball.

You watched the game you should understand.

We're missing some key pieces on defense which would've helped in this game. Ford at edge who is our fastest DLman and someone who could maybe help keep Lamar in check to his side. Kwon who would be a big help as well with his speed and ability to play against TEs.

Key penalties(some very iffy), bad footing for the DL vs the shiftiest QB in the game right now and end of the day we held them to 20 points, missed a FG and their defense made a big stop on 4th down by batting the ball down for what likely woud've been a 4th down conversion.

It happens. Acting like our D played poorly when we held them to their lowest point total on the year which included them getting a short field position for their first TD and holding them to 3 points in the second half isn't holding our D to a higher standard. It's being unrealistic and overreacting to a loss.

Would you have made this thread if we beat them 45 to 40?
