It's all about entertainment and not actual football knowledge. They are all doing it to get views and nothing else.

When news becomes entertainment, it ceases to be news in my opinion. It's just like any other comedy show then.

As for the Vikings fans, a good portion of them know this is a uphill challenge for them. At least that's what I've seen of some of the Viking forums I've perused.

I was at that one with my brother. The Chargers were so bad it was actually a boring game. It was like a Harlem Globetrotters game. Joe Robbie Stadium. Slept at the airport because the hotels were all sold out.

I'm jealous.

I think that 44 yard TD strike to Rice on the third play of the game got in their heads and they never recovered.

Dan Orvlosky aka previous scrub QB now scrub talking head is leading the charge against us.

Keep in mind this is the same moron that accidentally ran out of the back of the endzone for a safety

Love the story in Rice's AFL episode of how Deion and others were partying all week pre SB and Rice was having none of that lol.

Make these Niner doubters go away!

Vikings 30, 49ers 27 — Gregg Rosenthal, NFL.com
Vikings 20, 49ers 16 — Pete Prisco, CBS Sports
Vikings 27, 49ers 24 (OT) — Mike Florio, Pro Football Talk

Weather still looks good for tomorrow.

It looks like very low chance of rain in the afternoon from what I saw on the forecast. Which is really great IMO. But maybe some rain like 2 am. I wonder of they will put the tarp out to protect the field and keep it dry? I hope so. I would rather have a clean game. No wet and mud and all that stuff. Anything can happen in that. You can get fumbles an lose.

I've been very lucky. My Dad and uncle were huge Niner fans back to Kezar, so they made it happen when the Niners finally got good and made the Super Bowls. I got to go to XVI in Pontiac, XIX in Palo Alto, XXIV in New Orleans and XXIX in Miami. But I will tell you, truthfully, it's more cool in my opinion if you have an opportunity to go to a conference championship game with the home crowd. Super Bowls are so corporate and produced, about 80% of the people in attendance don't have a rabid rooting interest but are being wined and dined for business. A championship game at the Stick or Levi's, though, watch out! That is football Nirvana. They're going to do it this year. Sorry I'll miss it in person, but watching on TV will certainly stir memories of the '80s at the Stick. Those lucky enough to have tickets, bring it and be heard. Go Niners!
