Oh totally. We all know the Big 12 is full of defensive juggernauts.

John Lynch explains what led the #49ers to draft Brandon Aiyuk in the first round.

His last name isn't Williams so he'll be fine.

Is it the assumption that he'll be PR/KR too?

He's already the best on the roster at it. But...there's not chance they let him do it if he's WR1 or WR2.

Dallas and Denver are both pass first teams so Jeudy and Lamb will get stats probably 900+ receiving yards
Aiyuk will be the third option on a run first team so he could very well end up with 700 receiving yards.
Dak prescott and Jameis Winston had huge number last year but to me those were empty stats, I'd rather my team be in the super bowl and mauling other teams than care what the comparisons are. Rings>stats
Yeah, even that is probably reaching high. I've got 5 targets a game average. 3 catches. Probably between 500-600 yards would be nice. Kittle and Deebo should still be the feature guys and with our pass protection, Jimmy isn't getting to 3 often. Kyle will scheme him up more as the year progresses.
Based on what I'm gathering through several chats, sounds that 49ers were concerned about Packers drafting Brandon Aiyuk at No. 26. Lynch/Shanahan spoke of "intel" that spurred SF trade up to 25; that might've been it.

GB picked Jordan Love at 26; Aiyuk gone by then of course

I thought it seemed like the 49ers were scared of MIA taking Aiyuk (MIA sitting at #26). Once Aiyuk was taken, MIA traded out of 26. It makes little sense for GB to have their eye on Aiyuk then once Aiyuk was taken, GB decided "forget getting help for Rodgers (Aiyuk), let's just take Rodgers' replacement"
