Imagine if Pittsburgh liquidated their assets last year when things weren't looking. Thank you. I needed this laugh.

Liquidate is probably harsh, but with the cap decreasing and so many UFA's and money on the books, they probably should look into making moves like the one this afternoon with Kwon

Would you guys move Trent Williams? Tart? Sherman? What can you realistically get for him? Can always sign some of them back in the off season.

i say anyone on the defense can be traded besides Bosa, Warner, Kinlaw, Greenlaw, maybe Verrett,

Offense, trade anyone besides Kittle, Trent, Mostert, Deebo, Aiyuk.

Easy to do with a hall of fame quarterback. Let's see how they do when Big Ben retires

Only real trade I would be curious about would be trying to sell Jimmy back to the Patriots.

I would say Dee Ford.

how is he going to get moved lol?

one person I could see is Jason Varrett

Bite your tongue. He's our best CB right now. He won't cost as much to re-sign next year. Ford is not healthy enough to trade. He will be cut in the offseason. Plenty of other people to move like Witherspoon, Pettis, Ward, Tartt, JimmyG , etc.

I think Verrett chases the Paper. I don't blame him either. He never got a 2nd contract like a lot of the very good corners. He is making peanuts right now for what he will get next year.

Alright trading deadline is here. With the record as it is and a mounting injuries piling up, is it time to trade some of our players for teams looking to get over the hump. With Kwon traded, who else you want to move?

What assets are you trying to liquidiate? This team is going to be a super bowl contender next year. The 49ers were going to regress this year. Time to not overreact here.

Kwon was traded because he's not much better than Greenlaw and Greenlaw makes a fraction of what Kwon makes. It's a miracle someone wanted Kwon.

With Kittle and Jimmy probably done for the season to go with Bosa along with Mostert,Sherman, Ford and other key contributors out for a few games, this season is pretty much done. If a team like Ravens or Titans who lost their LT for the season would I consider trading Trent Williams if they inquire? I think I would depends on the compensation for a LT who still have plenty in his tank. If its a 3rd or more, Im sure JL/KS would consider it. Last year we got Eman to help us get over the hump but we didnt resign him. Im sure teams in contention are looking to do the same for this season. We can tell Trent Williams to chase his ring this season and would love to get him back in the off season. That goes for Ford,Tartt, Sherman. Not advocating trading any of them, but I would listen if any teams inquire for these players.

Agree 100% with everything you said. I just don't know if any team will be offering him any guaranteed money. Everything will be incentive based

You are missing the point. No one thinks we should move guys who can help next year, but JV is on an expiring deal.If the front office isn't willing to give him a high dollar, multi year contract (which I would not) then they should trade them.
He is the one player we have who may fetch a third round pick or better

Verrett is better than any player your drafting in the 3rd round
Sell Jimmy Ward for a bag of Cheetos to whatever team liked him in the offseason!
Trade Tartt and Ward please.

I like this idea. How much do you think we could get for him? His stock is up right now and we all know its just a matter of time until the next injury comes, why not cash in on his success this year?
