I don't understand this...if all the players we have sitting take a covid test today and all are negative, why can't they play? How do we know Bourne's test wasn't a false positive?

They re-test these guys and I believe they have to have 2 negatives . There may be some waiting period too since you can be negative a still test positive the next day. The virus has a 10 day window to show up once you're exposed. The tests can be wrong. There can be false positives but there are also false negatives which is why they have to keep repeating these tests.

Correct... you have to have 3 consecutive negative tests. I think that's overkill with the testing that they do it's much more thorough than what we would get normally so two negative tests should suffice

When I see the lineup for tonight, it looks like one of those crazy 'what if' scenarios that fans throw out on this forum. You know like what if we played the Packers without all our playmakers and our best O lineman and our best pass rushers and still won the game. Naw , even our fans wouldn't come up with anything that crazy.

It is but EVERYONE knew this would happen when you play during a pandemic. Even knew the injuries would increase, but I never thought it would be this bad and of course It's our team suffering the most

So the test was a false positive, and Bourne has now tested negative, but still all 4 guys have to sit out. That makes no sense.
