This..tank talk is just stupid. Period.
Fellas we got terrible qb play. I like to be optimistic but we not making it. These so called easy wins can easily be L's if Mullens decides to have a 4 turnover game. I don't trust him

Eagles game, anyone? Still pissed we lost that game... frickin' Mullens, man...

Although that scares me, the hope that Jimmy can come back soon is real. We need to somehow eek out a win against Buffalo next week though. That's the biggest hurdle right now. Even with Mullens under center, we should be able to beat Washington and Dallas. Hopefully by then we get Jimmy back, and I'll feel confident going into week 16 and 17 against AZ and SEA.

Of course, this is all super optimistic. A 5-6 team running the table? Very unlikely. Although if we get healthy, my homerism tells me this is the team that can do it. In all likelyhood, we're gonna need to run the table to get the 7th seed. It is possible that we sneak in at 9-7 as long as we don't lose to AZ again.

But as NFL coaches and players say, one week at a time. On to Buffalo.
Dallas and Washington should be W's. I think we can beat Buffalo but it will be tough. I know we can beat Arizona too as we gift wrapped the first game of the year to them. Seattle is the only team I think is a for sure L atm. Get well soon Jimmy and George, we need you guys!

What a joke. A win today did nothing but make it harder to get a QB. 4 years and Shanahan and Lynch still haven't figured how to lose when the season is basically over.

Get your loser mentality out of this thread. Go Sus

Exactly, real fans don't want the team to lose for a chance at a QB that racks up stats against High School level competition.

Right? If we finish .500 Kyle should be coach of the year, no lie. There is nobody who will have done more with less than our team. Our IR is the most talented team in the NFC.

If we beat Arizona, Washington and Dallas. And win one out of Buffalo or Seattle, we are almost guaranteed to make it in! That is still having to go 4-1 but it does seem like it can be done!

Thats a lot to do. We gotta hope we don't suffer any more injuries and get guys back. Hopefully December is kinder to us than all the other months have been.
So niners should get back K'Waun, DJ Jones, Aiyuk for Buffalo and could possibly get back Jimmy and Coleman, correct? What's the status on Richburg, Blair and Ford? My guess is they are all done for year, but thought I'd check.

If I recall correctly, Lynch suggested in an interview a few weeks back that Richburg was likely done for the year.

With Blair, the doctor botched something in his surgery, which had to be redone. My guess is that he's done for the season.

We haven't heard a word about Ford in weeks.

Yeah, my guess is all 3 are done. Let's at least hope they can get those other guys back at least

They COULD win those games but they could just as easily lose them all. This season more than ever has brought home that saying On any given Sunday. We have no idea which Niner team will show up or which Arizona or Washington team will show up. Buffalo is winnable but they could easily blow us out if Allen has a big game. He's mobile like Wilson and Murray and the Niners have had problems with them.

My guess is that Ford is technically retired...just can't make it official because it bones us on his cap hit.
