That's because it doesn't get trampled on when they have concerts there. They roll it out into the sun after the games. The new Raiders stadium is the same way.

Yupp, all credit goes to Willis and Gore. I'm 24 and growing up rooting for the 49ers was hard because all my friends who were bandwagon fans rooted for the best team at the time. It was hard because all I had was history to fall back on. But Willis and Gore were the 2 guys that made me watch every single Sunday. Being from Texas too, when we drafted Crabtree I thought we had our next and really my first dominant receiver.
