Where do we stand on the draft pick?

there are 13 teams with 5 wins or less atm

12th right now due to DAL and DEN winning.

Jets, Bungles, Jags.....less than 4 wins........Texans....Chargers...Eagles....Cowboys....Falcons....Panthers....each have 4 wins........Broncos....Giants...Lions....49ers....have 5 wins

Jets, Jags, Cowboys, Falcons, Panthers and Lions are all potential candidates to pick a quarterback in this upcoming draft.

I believe the Jets and jags are the only 2 who are locks for QB's.

Panthers just signed Teddy this year to a 3 year deal, 2 left,I think they'll stand pay.

Same with the Lions and ATL. Cowboys may be scared of Dak after the injury, maybe not,so I'm 50/50 on them. Bungles are happy, if Hurts plays solid the remaining games they will think they have their fqb and stand pat. Houston's happy, but if they want to trade our 3 QB's for Watson it's fair.

I looked at the list but forgot who else is ahead of us but I guesstimated we could be in line at 3rd or 4th for a QB.

Or they may stick with JG and add a rookie QB or trade JG and go after a different vet like Wentz, Ryan, etc.

There will be lots of big names out there at most positions this off season so there's gonna be some surprise signings. Teams will be really stressed more than ever and have to pick and choose between really good players who they can afford to keep and who they have to let walk.

Yeah, as if Kirk Cousins is the type of quarterback you should hang your future on. Dude's ceiling is 10 wins.

Good or bad that was the plan. He had about 2 months to figure out his own roster, a coaching staff, FO and everyone is b***hing about him drafting a QB in the mid rds like he was gonna be the answer lol.

Kirk would have at the very least been playing lol. I'll take 10 wins a yr.

You can't say Cousins would have been playing, seems like every player we have has gone down in the past 3 years.

I have never been a fan of Cousins but what good is 10 wins every year to either A) not make it to the playoffs or B) loose in the first round?

Heck, you may as well be 6-10 if the end results are the same, playoff losses and no SB appearances, wooopie.

To be fair, Eddie almost fired Walsh multiple times. Glad he didn't. Hope Jed is that smart and doesn't fire Shannahan either.
What are you talking about??? Jed's not going to Fire Him.Sure the results are not there. As far as i can tell the Players are still responding to what his preaching.

I think Shanahan gets a free pass this year... He's shown that with a healthy, stacked roster he is as good as any NFL head coach.

THAT SAID...

I predict next season we bring in an Offensive Coordinator AND I predict Shanahan will be on a VERY short leash.

If an OC is forced on Shanahan you might as well fire him and get it over with.
Firing Shanahan is bad thing?

Yes, if you want to go 4-12 for the next 20 years every year. We'll have nothing but Tomsula head coaches for decades if we fire Shanahan. The entire NFL will think we're toxic morons. Meanwhile Shanahan will win a few SBs with the team that wins the sweepstakes to hire him this offseason.

I think having a losing season 3 out of the 4 years here is justifiable. He should be on the hot seat next year.

Roster context matters. 2 of those 3 years had season derailing IR for top talent.

Shannahan is not the issue. He's a great coach. Look what he's working with this year. We have a lot of talent that's on IR and a lot of promising young players.

These people would've fired Bill Walsh and Chuck Noll.

KS is no Bill Walsh...for that matter he's not even a Mike Shanahan at that.
What will be interesting is to see how much change is made. Based on a season with majority of starting positions injured almost all season or at one point during the year for multiple games, its hard to track where we really are. Being on your third or fourth center, bringing in dudes off the street at several positions, and a rotating QB room is never going to be an accurate look at your real team. Also throw in COVID and limited training/practice its a hard year to evaluate.

How many games has Kirk missed in his career as a starter? One.

Only thing is 10 wins would have had this team in the playoffs in 2018/2019 and in 2020 the way it's shaking out....after that the playoffs are a crapshoot. It's all about making it to the dance and then going from there.

Right or wrong Kyle had a plan and imo that plan would have lead fo winning games with a prove vet that was already ready to go. Jimmy was never in the plan and just feel into their laps. He almost won a freaking Super Bowl with him lol.

I have zero issues with Kyle and Co. ability to scout QBs and call plays to their strengths.

Oh wahhh Jeep doesn't like the truth because it's being mean about his QB lol.

Yes it's an opinion that he wanted Kirk lol. I mean Kyle never talked about it yeah it's totally fabricated that he had 2 months to build his coaching staff/evaluate his roster/build a FO/and evaluate a draft class

Yeah you're right Kirk just misses games like Jimmy lol. Kirk has gotten killed behind the Minn OL for yrs and still plays....No b******t excuse about Kirk having to "learn this hard offense" either. Imo they win just as many games or more with him for the simple fact that he actually plays.

Look we get it, you love Jimmy and his chiseled jaw line. I wish he was a good as you think he is... He's got about $85M in the bank and played half the game since coming here. That's a fact.

They just gave him an extension lol. He just took them to a SB and are currently dealing with the most players on IR& been kicked out of their homes.

Fans are so reactionary (not saying you) one week kyle should win coach of the yr the next people talk about him being the problem. It's quite comical

Just summed up my thoughts on the fire Kyle bs, please please trade up for Wilson and give Kyle a QB who he can literally open up his playbook more, idc what anyone says Kyle is handcuffed with Mullens and Jimmy.
If the org screwed up Shanny's plan of overpaying for an above average QB they should of did it from day 1 and forced him to take a real rookie prospect.

Oh well. We probably would of took Trubisky anyways.
Washington really needed to lose this game. They are going to be stuck with Haskins

I always want to win...... but this loss is about as satisfying as it could be. Drafting before Washington is 'uge
Rivera doesn't know how much longer he'll be around. Every game counts for him.

I don't think the org or Kyle knew that Jimmy was gonna fall into their laps half way thru his first season as the HC Jimmy then put on a show looking like freaking young Brady out there lol. Kirk was the original plan right or wrong.

Is what it is. Time to make it right IMO.
