Teams gonna look at this:
Jimmy Garoppolo has a passer rating of 74.1 with 962 yards, 4 touchdowns and 6 interceptions in 7 games in the playoffs in his career.
That is why nobody signed him. He SUCKS in the playoffs when the defenses are better and key in on his weaknesses.
Just saying...

If Lynch and Shanny are holding out for a 3rd (no chance we're getting a 2nd), they're going to need to wait until somebody gets injured during camp / early season and a team gets desperate. For all the reasons stated (and BOI49er put it perfectly I thought), teams are hesitant to move on Jimmy right now (or at a price we'd be willing to move him for, anyway). If folks are thinking we're going to get a 2nd or 3rd rounder before camp, they'll be disappointed.

Wow. 137 yards per game, and 50 percent more interceptions than touchdowns, on a 7 game sample size, all well into his career.
We all knew the only reason anyone would trade draft capital for him is if there were multiple teams trying to get him. That's not happening. We don't even know if there is one. Otherwise, they'll just wait for him to be released. And then instead of trying to negotiate down from $25m, you can negotiate up from $0.
We better wait for him to be able to pass a physical to cut him, because otherwise that $7.5m injury settlement to sit out might start looking pretty good to him.

Getting your QB1 in the building asap is imperative. You do installations early, he can get up to speed with a new offense, etc. You don't wait till June or whatever.

Yah, dude sucks in the playoffs. Hope he heals and the 49ers aren't on the hook for a 7.5 injury settlement.

He made the NFC Championship Game with a busted up shoulder and thumb. A more healthy Jimmy G made the Super Bowl. So is he really that bad?

SanDiego, since when have you been on the Jimmy bandwagon?

He's not as bad as people say here. Trey Lance isn't ready. We may even bring him back.

He did look pretty good against the Rams in game 17, the play in game to end the season. He's had his big moments and come through.

He's had his moments is synonymous with he's inconsistent. Problem is you need to have four moments in a row to win the playoffs, and that just isn't going to happen.

Jimmy is just not a complete QB with big games on the line. He doesn't scare opponents defenses at all. He tries to make up for obvious arm talent deficiencies with a sort of command of a quick fire offense. And sometimes he succeeds. But almost everything needs to go right. Pass pro, running game, our own defense….
He's more than sufficiently better than the other QBs that Shanny has had here.
But he's a footnote, not a franchise.
Just my opinion.

How come only the QB position gets this luxury of a team effort win? Why not a kicker, a center, a corner back ? Maybe offensive lineman ? Especially in a game where your QB throws less than 10 times ?
Even then, this game can be played too.
Rex Grossman made the Super Bowl. So was he really that bad ?
