If we're being team-focused, objective and honest, here's your list. You can literally apply this to every single game and list the issue for that game. Try it.

Sometimes they'll improve upon it from the previous week, continue the issue or magnify the issue.

Team Weakneses:
  • Pass interference
  • Defense can't generate TO's
  • Defense fails late quickly in games and after going up double digits
  • Defense struggles taking a team's best player away
  • 3rd down pass defense
  • Defense piss poor tackling (and technique) at times
  • Offensive TO's lead to points the other way
  • Offensive TO's take points off the board
  • Offensive penalties at crucial times (false starts, holdings, delays, etc.)
  • Receiver drops
  • Boneheaded team penalties at key moments
  • Kyle is bipolar with play calling
  • Kyle struggles with clock management at times
  • Kyle gets too cute or too conservative at times
  • Slow starts; poor second half adjustments
  • Must run 35+ times to have a chance to win
  • Unit pass protection - Colton McKivitz, Tom Compton & Daniel Brunskill (RB's, FB and TE's)
  • Too many key injuries at key positions at key times
  • SpecialED teams

You could apply most of those to any team IMO. It's not just one thing every week (ST and inconsistent QB play are pretty close) but more or less each game has it's ups and downs.

Overall this team handles it's business more than it doesn't. You can't say that for a lot of teams in the NFL.
Where is the all of the above except D option

It is according to you.

And end of the day Dallas is a damn good team, they have studs all over the place and it was a road game in the playoffs.

Got the W and onto GB!

And I agree with your QB point too.

Why is special teams not up there
Team Weakneses:
  • Pass interference - No issues today!
  • Defense can't generate TO's - Ward, my God, Ward. Our safeties are anti-play makers. Big ups to K'Waun for making up for his TD given up
  • Defense fails late quickly in games and after going up double digits - Dallas scored 7 very quickly after going up double digits and defense gave up 40+ yards in just seconds at the end
  • Defense struggles taking a team's best player away - great job this game!
  • 3rd down pass defense - not as bad as the previous weeks. Improvement.
  • Defense piss poor tackling (and technique) at times - Warner
  • Offense missed a big opportunity/play - Aiyuk and Sherfield miss (wide open)
  • Offensive TO's lead to points the other way - damn near cost us this game
  • Offensive TO's take points off the board - not this week
  • Offensive penalties at crucial times usually in the RZ or backed up (false starts, holdings, delays, etc.) - pretty clean game this week but that Trent Williams one was huge. And Tomlinson and Aiyuk holds were big too
  • Receiver drops - not this week at all!
  • Boneheaded team penalties at key moments - see offensive penalties
  • Kyle is bipolar with play calling - pretty consistent this game
  • Kyle struggles with clock management at times - not this game BUT Kyle badly needs to teach Deebo and others to learn when to stay in bounds
  • Kyle gets too cute or too conservative at times - no doubt this was one of his poorer called games esp. on first downs. Super conservative. Trent Williams shift? Why?
  • Slow starts and/or poor second half adjustments - flipped this game
  • Must run 35+ times to have a chance to win - right on the money FTW!
  • Unit pass protection - Colton McKivitz, Tom Compton & Daniel Brunskill (RB's, FB and TE's) - zero sacks but lots of pressures
  • Too many key injuries at key positions at key times - Willis, Bosa, Warner, Ebukam, D.J. Jones
  • SpecialED teams - a unit that nearly cost us another game (return coverage team, rushing the punter unnecessarily, constantly fair catching inside our own 10, touchback with 30s was inexcusable, and preparation and in-game coaching was horrendous)

Yes, the aiyuk miss is the reason why we traded up for Lance.

No doubt Trey will make that play 100% of the time even when the receiver flattens out his route while the ball is in the air.
I think we fail to close games Bc of how erratic Jimmy is and Kyle not trusting him late. Think that limits our aggression to end the game when we can.

We dont close out games well

Except when we do agains the Rams with our season on the line. Do fans have selective memory?
QB/HC. Shanny needs to work on that killer Instinct, and the QB needs to take care of the ball better.

The defense also needs to stop playing soft when they have a big lead.

Special teams.. nvm. They just suck.

We all know and expect Jimmy to make a costly mistake at some point. Can't really do anything about that unfortunately.

What really kills it is Kyle's inconsistency in calling a game. He still has NO CLUE on when to take risks, when to play conservative, when to put the nail in the coffin. Earlier on the year vs the Cardinals he went for each and every 4th down possible (overkill). This time around, the guy goes into a shell on several occasions when it was 4th and one (or less). Why ? Why ? Why ?

WHY is it so hard when you have a team on their heels and you're driving deep inside their territory and it's 4th and short and you just go into a shell and automatically decide to go for a FG or PUNT ?! We could've put this game away on SEVERAL OCCASIONS despite Jimmy's shortcomings but Shanahan refuses to put teams away when it matters most.

Chargers did that this season its popular with fanbases because its exciting but without a doubt going for 4th down cost the chargers multiple games

Yeah, lead league in clutch points speak to the complete opposite of that. There might be some element of truth there when it gets heated but some of that is because the defense is stoning Kyle's own calls too. I think Kyle panics himself a bit as well.

Staley is an idiot. He calls plays like it's backyard football. Kyle has no situational awareness…I don't think anyone can argue that.
