Bitter, yes. But at the same time, the 49ers overachieved this year. They were a fringe playoff team that got hot at just the right time. I'm proud of the season the Niners had.

That being said, screw LA. As heartbreaking as it was to lose to them in the NFC Championship game, a Super Bowl loss is 10x more painful. I want them to feel that pain again!

Plus, I went to the Cincinnati game this year and their fans were hella cool to my buddy and I. Probably one of the best live sporting events I've ever attended. Not to mention, how can you not root for Joe Burrrrrrrrrr 🥶

Us old dudes still enjoy the game but like you, I can't let a Niner loss ruin the rest of my year. Too much to do and too little time.

This!
I was just think the same thing and then saw this thread…. Smh
Football is dormant for 6 months after today, so I'm watching. If niners aren't in it, I cheer for the team that hasn't won it recently or ever and who has the better fan base. So, go rams!

jk f**k the rams, go bengals!!!

Yeah, I was fortunate enough to live through and enjoy the glory years. I laugh when I think back to some of those brutal losses and how I handed it (NFCCG in '90 and '87 Divisional round vs Vikings come to mind).
great season guys. dont let that get lost in the bitter defeat. Hell if the rams lose today it would be damn near perfect lol
They just said that Donald said that's he's retiring after this game. They're going to loose Von Miller to FA. Rams aren't going to be as good next year
Rams also probably just lost Beckham to ACL.

But Burrows having no problems with the Rams showing that a capable QB makes a big difference.

Jimmy was not capable.

Thank God he's gone.

Went skiing instead and decided on music instead of football on the radio for the drive home.

I have it recorded but doubt I will watch.
The people who refused to watch had the right idea terrible game I'd like to see a redo with better officiating in a neutral venue. You know, a proper Super Bowl.
