Deebo or Bosa?

Boooosa!!!
Bosa no question.

Samuel is fantastic but they leaned on him and relied upon him more than they wanted to last year. He answered the call and now the 49ers are kinda paying for their overutilization because he's looking to cash in on a historic year.

In a more ideal/normal scenario, the 49ers don't have to do that with Deebo.

They get Lance to push downfield to Kittle and Aiyuk and Jennings; they get his running component; they get better production out of the RBs instead of shuffling through Mitchell and Wilson based on who's healthy.

So the pickle they're in, is they're gonna pay him for last year, when he can't and shouldn't replicate that production if things go according to plan. He's also injury prone despite gritting it out and staying relatively healthy last year.

Bosa is a consistent, game changing defensive player at a premium position. He makes those around him better (see Arik Armstead); he helps out the secondary and our linebacking corps. This team turned around the day he was drafted--that's no coincidence. Sure there were other factors, but he was the key ingredient to it all.

I love Samuel but if it's a choice, it's Bosa. And if you can't agree with Deebo; fetch a king's ransom for him right now and recoup a first rounder and then some.
Both guys are great players. Neither of them are iron men in terms of staying healthy. Giving big money to either guy will carry some risk due to that.

Personally I'd lean Bosa because he plays a position that should age better. I just don't know how Deebo will stay elite beyond 2-3 more seasons given the hits he takes.

Having said that, I'd love to sign both guys and cut money elsewhere if possible.
Get rid of Jimmy and we won't have to choose, they'll be able to afford both

Not yet.

Let's not forget his brother's hold out in his rookie season.
The Bosa family knows how to extract every last bit of value from the NFL.
We're seeing receivers being dealt because of economics, but not elite pass rushers. You can say Von Miller was traded but he is past his prime. It's becoming almost impossible to keep 2 or 3 players that earn 25-30 mill on the roster. I guess. the Belichick blueprint of keeping an elite QB and discarding players with high price tags is the model to follow.
Easy one:
Shanahan made Deebo for the way he used him.
Deebo as solely a receiver in his first seasons was pretty underwhelming.
Bosa produces and produces without getting stats out of gimmick plays.
It's Bosa for two reasons. 1 being he plays the 2nd most important position. And 2 being is that if Trey is who we think he is, He's going to elevate the offense and make others better and plus have Kyle who is one of the best play-callers in the league. On Defense we don't have that player that could elevate the defense if we lose Bosa. Warner? He's a linebacker, They could only do so much. Both Ward's? They are decent but they aren't elite. And even if J Ward was the best safety in the league, He is still just a safety.
Great, another deserving thread

Why not make w or 3 if it is so easy? Why didn't he make one in 2017?
Bosa.
