Remember when redzone offense is the hardest for young qb and even some vets

Against the #1 Red Zone Defense in the NFL too.

That's an insanely high level play. He has 44 for the certain first down. I think Juice is expecting the ball. Then he sees the space behind Kittle. Kittle fakes outside big time, and Purdy throws right before Kittle has gotten into his inside cut . Big time processing, risk-calibration, execution by 13.
Mahomes, Burrow, Herbert, Allen, maybe Hurts....not in any particular order, but Purdy is somewhere in there the way he's going.

Mahomes, Purdy, Allen, Hurts, Herbert, Tua, Burrows, Jackson, and Lawrence... in that particular order. It's difficult for me to put anyone other than Mahomes above Purdy because Brock was born to play QB. His football IQ and dedication is on another level. Allen might be a special talent, but is anyone comfortable with him late in big games? I don't even feel nervous watching anymore since Purdy took over. I expect us to not only win, but win in dominant fashion. He should be the favorite to win MVP in only his 2nd season. That has to put him in the top 3.

It's very hard to straight up compare players given the variety of factors....individual talent, coaching, the surrounding teammates...but Purdy has shown that so far, nothing fazes the guy. He's just a flatliner who hasn't even had a 'bad' game yet - I agree that there just doesn't seem to be a reason to worry about him. It's been pretty amazing so far.

He doesn't seem like someone that will get down in the dumps if things are not working. After that long pass that was negated by a penalty, he came right back and hit Deebo with another long pass.

Contrast that with Dak.
This kid is freaking special.

Watch the league go back to drafting smaller QB's now with an emphasis in processing and football IQ again.

They can white board it all they want but can they do it in a flash like Brock is doing and consistently like the last 13 games. Brock is the unicorn of unicorns

That was crazy. I was like "wow they just called that back?!" And it was 3rd and 14 (league trying to keep it competitive) and BAM - Brock said not today Mofo! Just ice in his veins!
20-0 book it

Look at that list and what stands out? All the guys are physically gifted with big arms, speed or size. All except Purdy. He makes it on guts and football IQ. It's why he was overlooked in the draft and why so many around the league are reluctant to give him credit. They look at his size and combine numbers and just can't see a great QB. Last night the whole country got to see him against what was supposed to be a tough test. He aced it.
How are people comparing him to Brees and Brady (maybe story-wise but it's still early) when he's more similar to Godtana? The size, the sneaky athleticism, the accuracy, the poise, the footwork, and neither are known to have cannons and even Montana's team with weapons and top tier D, elite coaching, so many similarities
Unimpressed. That TD to Kittle was .27 cm off target to the left and .05 cm too high with a wobble factor of .0952. Game manager at best.
PSA: don't tell brock purdy that your team is going to be a "test" for him, because he passes every single one of those.
