Might be interesting just to take a look. He's more of a prototypical quarterback in terms of arm strength and height.

would be funny if he came in and lit it up and now you have a QB controversy to boot…

Daniel Jones is downright horrible. I'd rather just stay with Allen and Dobbs if that's the case. Shoot I'd even elevate Tanner Mordecai than sign overrated and over priced Daniel Jones.

This video was made before the season and now, Jones isn't even a Giant.

I swear a lot of people in here just don't watch enough football. Daniele jones? Goff? Sam I am horrible? Brock is better than all 3. Not even close. It can't always fall on Brock to make up for the rest of the s**tshow on this team. He needs better plays and a better line. Also I agree our receivers are way overrated. JJ is our best. Yuk and deboo are overpaid and over rated.

No arguments here. Just thought the season's a dud, might as well use it as a preseason launching pad for next year…

That's the market rate,
Lawrence got over 55 million
Goff and Dak got more than that……
so of course Purdy is going to get more. He's better than those quarterbacks and he is also the more recent signing (the rate goes up after almost every significant signing). I don't know why people ask if he's worth x amount of dollars. It's the Market and he's good.

Pretty simple, isn't it? Lol

Lawrence, in particular, dude. Never in a million years would I have given that deal to him. He simply just was not that good. Of course, we are gunna pay Purdy, as you said, it is the market and he actually is good. I would give Lawence that deal if it was with L'Oréal..not as a qb lolol

Lawrence was never a generational QB. But it would be interesting even at his salary if he was on the market this off season. He has all the physical gifts Purdy will never have. I would like to think would be at his best under Shanahan & he did had a 30 total TD year a few years ago.

Lawrence will never have the one thing that makes a QB actually good and that's the ability to process the game.

My bad you said 30 total TD's. Brock has thrown for 30 TD's in his first full year of starting.

Throwing to multiple Pro Bowl players.

Processing the game says more about the QB than the players around him. And lets not act like Lawrence has scrubs for receivers. Dude has had, Calvin Ridley, Christian Kirk, Brian Thomas Jr.. But getting back to Brock, he makes plays all over the field and throws with anticipation. It's like you're on the outside looking in and look no better than the media when you bring up the players around Purdy.

Before Injury Ridley was faster than Aiyuk...post injury I doubt it's even going to be a foot race if Aiyuk ever returns.

Not really...he's showing he can't stay healthy...it's going to have an effect on the negotiations.

Same problems. WR's can't get open. 6 catches by our WR's, 5 of those are Jennings.

Clean house.
Second mri? Hmmmm
So now we've done two MRI's in a week, which is certainly unusual, and on the second one, they're no longer saying they are seeing nothing, but not much. Then they say the discomfort actually started in the elbow, and progressed to the shoulder. Were they looking in the wrong place the first time? It sure as $hit didn't change in a couple of days at rest.

OK, so now I'm starting to worry about what's really going on. That elbow was repaired, not reconstructed, so as to get Brock back on the field sooner. There appeared to always be a bit of concern if it would last as well as a reconstruct, and they seemed to agonize over that for some time, but the incentive of getting our hot new commodity back was powerful. We all know if you have pain downstream, you tend to adjust your motion upstream to compensate, and when you're doing that, you accuracy of motion suffers, and I've been saying I like bachelor Brock better than married Brock all season. When you have an unnatural motion, that upstream joint will often begin hurting then too. And here we are.

So if all these paronoid fears materialize, we 'ain't going to need to pay Brock $50m this off season as he'll be down for the year recovery type surgery, and he has a year left on his contract, and we'll want to see his health before we offer that contract in a year. If our dude is going into surgery soon, we'll also need a new quarterback in the interim. I hope they don't start talking about picking up someone like Danial Jones, or I'm really going to get worried.

At least we won't get embarrassed by losing by 40 points. Snow will make it a lower scoring game but we will still lose.
