The fact that football has ties triggers me.

At least put the ball at midfield and each team chooses a player to put in their own endzone. First player on the whistle to get a clean recovery, that team wins. Danny Gray would be perfect at this.

If it's still tied after ot. Send 2 guys out there to fight, last one standing their team wins.

My reasoning there is the Urban Meyer situation went as poorly as any HC I've ever seen. It was all time bad. Going from that.. to a guy who won the SB vs Brady/Belichick with Nick freakin Foles.. that's a huge HC upgrade. The team will look and play different. Lawrence will start trending toward the FQB they thought he was. I see them competitive week to week and around .500.. 8 or 9 wins..

I would say the Jets will be a surprise team over the Jags. Jets have a solid roster on paper imo.

I don't see it. No big HC upgrade like in Jax. And I view Lawrence as a true FQB.. you just didn't see it cuz Meyer was so bad last year.. Wilson I just don't know he seems like a bust imo.
12-5. Going game by game, I come up with 14-3, but I docked two wins to offset my innate homerness.

That's a pretty bold prediction considering they're starting what is basically a rookie at QB. I assume you are expecting Deebo to be signed.

If you are drafted in April and playing in September, your head is spinning. You were doing exams and college ball earlier in the year.. now you live in a different city, with a pro contract, a new residence, and a career.. vs being a student athlete.

We avoided all that by giving TL over a year to adjust. This offseason, it's not a surprise, he's been through an NFL offseason, he knows what the day-to-day is like. Huge difference between a rookie, and a second year pro. We even saw the clear improvement from one start to the next with TL.

I think some are concerned Lance Isn't quite ready yet? I fail to see how the 9ers win less than 10 games this season, unless Lance Is below par or Kyle struggles to find his groove. I agree that we have too much talent on this team to be thinking about missing out on the playoffs.

We reached the super bowl In ( 2019 ) and NFCCG ( 2021 ) with an average QB. Surely we can at least win 10 games with a QB who should be at least able to perform at the Same level as Jimmy, especially after all the draft capital Invested on him. The "Inexperienced* excuse Isn't gonna cut it Imo, not since we choose to keep Lance benched through his rookie year.

2022 should be fun watching Lance develop whilst being competitive.
2023 should be fun watching us win the super bowl.

May God hear you... 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼

My concern is that Trey isn't a typical highly drafted QB. He only had one season and then took the entire 2020 season off. So he's had exactly 2 games in 2 years. That's a long time to go without seeing real action. I'm hoping he has the talent that will make him a top tier QB under Kyle but it may take all or most of the season for him to just get used to playing every week. Plus the Niners have a tough schedule so it's not like he can pile up wins against some easy teams like we did in the 1st half of 2019 to build confidence. He'll be facing some good pass rushes and going against teams with good QBs that can put points on the board. He needs to hit the ground running.
