SF 49ERS vs Dolphins Pregame Thread - 2022 Season Week 13

Hopefully the refs will keep a close eye on it and warn both teams of the possibility of quick flags and ejections. Do what MLB does What bothers me is, I know the 49ers aren't the only organization to trade away or cut players in the NFL. Surely other organizations practice this same type of business decisions as well. All these former 49ers claiming that they were done wrong by the team and are out for blood is ridiculous.

I doubt there will be any fights. No Conf game with only middling meaning. Just hope no one gets hurt.
DrEll has yet to take me up on my bet

Yep, that would appear to be the plan.

Miami's DL is legit. Christian Wilkins and Zach Seiler are top-tier DTs in the league. They will make life tough for our IOL which is not good at RBLK. On the outside they have Bradley Chubb and Melvin Ingram. Both bring the heat but you can run at them. Their secondary is where we can do some business.
Every starting DT in the NFL is good. Even the worst teams in the league have elite players. No excuse. Good teams dictate their terms.
Would be nice to get a win against a legitimately good team other than Seattle on the schedule.

I doubt it. Most of the drama seems to be a media creation rather than an actual beef.

I don't think Mostert was even talking crap. It just seems like another out of context quote that people ran with.

The only other legit team we've faced is the Chiefs other than Seattle and that's still debatable. But if we are considering the Seahawks legit we are 1-1 Vs legit teams.
Mosthurt backpeddling... He was 10000% taking a shot at Jimmy then wants to use his humble image as a ohhh hey... no need come down on me, Jimmy is my family... COME ON NOW?! "a guy who can ACTUALLY sling it"? Wasnt their QB before Tua RYAN the AMUSH RIFLE!? How is Mosthurt gonna backpeddle now? I hope we destroy them and absolutely embarrass Mosthurt, if he even plays....

Seattle was most certainly not legit when the 49ers faced them. They have improved, and Geno is looking much better, but when the 49ers faced them they were an afterthought, especially given the game was in SF. You can go back and look at the game day thread. People were nervous because it was Seattle, but expected a win because it was Seattle without Russ. And it really wasn't much of a game.

Let's see what happens against Miami. I expect a win, but only if the 49ers are excellent in the red zone. FGs half the time won't be enough, because as much as I think the 49ers' D is top tier (and it is), Miami should still be able to score. I think it takes, at the very least, 24 - 27 to beat Miami.

💯
I completely buy what Mostert was further explaining about the comments he made in that Dunne interview. No harm done, he really is a completely standup guy.
Who the F is Winston Chung? Giving the coaching advantage to McDaniels? Is this a f'in joke? Jesus man, no respect. Go be a beat writer for the Texans or Raiders Mr. Gloooom and doom
