Is the season over without Jimmy G?

Over? No. We should still make the playoffs but a Superbowl win was slim to none even with Jimmy (too many good teams) so it's even less now, IMHO.

ya its over. well have a couple more good games, but eventually the scouts will do their job on purdy. this is the mullin situation all over again

Not like I have a ton of faith in Purdy, but man you are like clockwork with negativity. Like, consistently impressive.

He just thinks Jimmy is the reason for our success. There are others, but they'll all soon have to come to terms.

Because I mean the 9ers have just been so successful without him.

Jimmy G may not be the main reason, but he one of the reasons, not sure how anyone can deny that.

How successful were they today, against a team with a better record, after losing our starting QB? Time for your fairy tale to be end, homie! PLEASE tell me how Jimmy would have fared better!!!!

Even Nick Mullens won a game, might wanna pump your brakes there pal.

Why? So I can be like you and lose faith in my team's season?

Wow you're so cool. You must be such a tough guy too doing that behind a screen. smfh

Who said I lost faith and where did I say that?? Was it my "When has a rookie QB won a Super Bowl comment", well tell me something that will give me confidence that they still can win it, instead of posting s**t that only makes you look silly. Losing Jimmy sucks, so yes, I feel the Super Bowl window got smaller.

Looks like you did. That sucks.

Thanks for twisting my words, try harder.

Just highlighted them.

That doesn't mean I lost faith, Super Bowl window is smaller, how is that losing faith?? Do I have faith Purdy can get them to the Super Bowl, yes, am I confident when I say that, not really.

My god, how old are you??

Old enough to criticize the post rather than the poster.

Oh I can see, by the gif you posted. smfh lol

That was very mature of you.

Very sorry if I hurt your feelings.

Do you even read what you post, you contradict yourself to the fullest.

I feel like you're a second account to another poster on here.

Thanks btw, I get to add another poster to my block list.
Season been over ... But sure its Jimmy lol
Jimmy just can't stay healthy. I don't want to say he's injury prone because I don't know what that really means. I do know that he has terrible luck when it comes to getting hurt. He's been the starter here for 5 seasons ( I count this one since he's been the starter since game 2) and he's been fully healthy for 1. Other than 2019 he's been at least injurded enough to hamper his game. This is now his 3rd season ending injury. If it wasn't for bad luck he's have no luck at all.

His foot should be okay by next season but I have to wonder how much another in a long line of injuries is going to affect his market value. After all, injures were one of the main reasons the 49ers went out and drafted Trey. Since then he's had the thumb, shoulder and now a broken foot. He just seems to be one of those guys like Ward was when he first got here or Verrett was. One injury after another. Buyer beware.
It's over, guys. Let's not be delusional. I'm one of The Faithful but not The Stupid.

It's that linebacker mentality of his that gets him into trouble. Worked well with QB sneaks though :)
I've been trying to think back to all the years I've been following this team and I can't recall any year when they had to finish out a playoff bound year with a 3rd string QB. If they manage to even make it to the SB with a 3rd string QB it says a lot about Kyle's system and the job he and Lynch have done building a team.

If Brad Johnson can win a SB, so can Niners?
This is the most down I've felt all season. Idk what to think or expect anymore
The morning after and Brock couldn't have played better his first NFL game. Now the reality is it sustainable? The only positive out of this it happened later in the season. We just need to take a few more then we are in. Then it's up to Kyle to spin 9er gold. I think it can happen. Glad this isn't week 3.

For the worst possible scenario to happen at least it's the best timing possible if it had to happen. Enough games left for Brock to get some play time but not enough time where he needs to win 10 games. I really like the guy. This would be an incredible story. We can take three more. I know it.

The defense and run game is still elite, and that might be enough to help Purdy to the promise land.

Its a proven formula if u think about it.

QB with limited skill set who happens to be a late round rookie, throws everything out the window.

Season not over. I think they still make the playoffs. But the SB chances are over

Don't jinx us. There's no guarantee we make the playoffs.
