The game in 2012 could have been on that list had Justin Smith not tore his bicep causing the entire defense to collapse before our very eyes .

Seemed biased to me. Only one angle too.

I had my doubts going into this game. I thought Kyle would be more conservative and protect Purdy against the 5th ranked pass defense. But he ended up calling a game that was everything but conservative. He must really trust and believe in this kid.
I thought we would go deep into the playoffs again with Jimmy but also fall short again with Jimmy. Especially if we had to go into Philly and play the eagles. But Purdy has a killer instinct that Jimmy just doesn't have. There is no selling out to stop the run and clamping down on the underneath routes any longer. Defenses will have to defend every single blade of grass going forward.
I think we have the defense, the offensive firepower and the sniper at QB that will be needed to go into philly and beat them. I feel a SB coming. Is it a bit premature? Possibly. But I can't help but feel that way about this team because they seem to laugh in the face of adversity.
