Let's get this W and then rest up with a mini bye. Go Niners!

Maybe. The #2 seed is still 100% in play though. Minnesota finishes with Indy, NYG, GB and Chi. I don't know for a fact, but I believe if we tie them, we get the tiebreaker due to conference and division records.

We do get the 2 seed with a tie, I want that 2 seed bad. The less travel the better and 1 Eagles f**k up from hosting the title game

I do think the Eagles will f**k it up in the Divisonal round if they had to go to play Dallas, Minn, or even TB. It would be great to secure the number two seed it guarantees us an easy first round game vs Wash NY Sea followed by a home game vs Minn Dal TB.

I think the best case scenario for the 49ers involves having the Cowboys and Eagles play each other so one of them knocks the other out. I also think the Cowboys are the only other team in the NFC other than the 49ers that can beat the Eagles. I think the ideal scenario is to get the #2 seed and then host WAS/NYG/SEA/DET in the 1st round and then host Minnesota in the Divisional round. Minnesota as the #3 seed would have to beat whoever they face at #6 which I would think they could. Then onto Philadelphia OR hosting the Cowboys, the latter being clearly preferred.
Pete Carol always play the 9ers hard. I wouldn't overlook this game.

For sure but boy the schedule sure worked for us these last six games or so. We've been home, travel is short distance now. A mini bye coming up. I do think if we take this one, which I agree is going to be sneaky tough, we run the table the rest of the way.

Me being a weirdo , do we lose one to get it out of our system? Or go all the way without? Every now and then a loss can ground you. I'm worried we run this thing and luck runs out eventually.

But baby steps. Win in two days win the division. On our way. This is getting real now.
I just want two things:

1. No injuries
2. Win

If we can lock up the number 2 seed before week 18, we will rest our starters against ARI and get some well needed rest before the playoffs.

Win out and we likely have the two seed with some luck. Then Iggles mess up somewhere and NFCCG goes through Santa Clara…ideally.
We have to see how things shake out but it would be nice to be able to rest some players the last game. We can't afford to lose Purdy and Deebo wouldn't need to play much if at all. I'm not sure I would want to go into the playoffs with a 10 game winning streak either. I'm superstitious about winning streaks. I've always felt that every win brings you one game closer to a loss. Maybe it's because teams can get over confident or the other team gets up more for a team on a winning streak.

Now I just wish Robbie Gould would kick every Kick Off into the endzone. My heart jumps in my chest when the opposing team brings the ball out.

He's a big reason DL noted we're #5 in ST. I think that's since the KC game though. Not overall.

I think they're doing that on purpose to try to pin the opposition deep. He's doing this high hang time low distance kickoff.

I hate Thursday games.

short week - banged up - rushed game plan.

luckily it's equal for both teams.

True but with both gunners out plus DJ out too, we may not want to risk it this time with Lockett.
