The goal line stand was big.

Like I said earlier and I'll say it again, he could've won this game just as Purdy did. Could he have done it the same way, probably not but you act like Jimmy doesn't see the field too. Purdy is a damn good, hes doing some great things, no one is saying Jimmy could do it better. Not saying you're saying this but I feel like this is where its going.

Jimmy doesn't look 20 yards upfield and doesn't even attempt passes over 30 yards.

Purdy does both those things and delivers the ball to those zones.
has jimmy ever came back from a 10 point deficit ?

3 off the top of my head are:

14 points in 2019 vs Saints
16 points in 2019 vs Cards
17 points in 2022 vs Rams

Could be more but those are the only 3 I can think of.

well that doesn't make sense ?

He was specifically talking about 2nd half 10+ point deficits. We had closed the gap in some of those other games by halftime.

Just coming here to say this was a fantastically entertaining game. Had family over for a New Years lunch spread and we had a lot of fun cheering for the niners.

While I was surprised at the D breakdowns I knew it was an any given Sunday scenario. Glad the Raiders played the way they did.

In the playoffs every team we will face is capable of dropping 30 on this D, so we'd best get used to seeing how we'd respond in all facets, for 60 minutes of football.

Told the family before the game this is a dress rehearsal super bowl party.
I still absolutely believe that now.

Its obvious that their scouting report on Stidham was incomplete. He was mobile and has a big arm. The team looked surprised. They thought it would be a heavy dose of Jacobs with quick passes.

Well the stat I mentioned was down in the second half - I'm not sure if those deficits mentioned above were in the second half or not. Maybe maiacco was wrong? Who knows

Demeco ate him up on the last play though. That pass very predictable based on hufanga sucking down the play before to stop the run and the look they got at the top.

You knew the ball was going there before it was even snapped. Now bosa blew it up and turned it into a pick but it was still easy to see that's what they wanted pre snap.

Ryan's has been downright bad in the first quarter. Now he has rarely been made to pay for it but you can see on the film the blown coverages. Luckily by the second half he usually changes it but it seems like the game plan going in is usually pretty poor.

Thanks for clarifying.

one thing we havent discussed much but This is kyles best coaching job yet. I'm very impressed with his growth and adjustment - early on it seemed like he was more stubborn about what he wanted to do. Now he seems to be amenable to adjustments. Its awesome

By early on, I mean his first 3-4 years head coaching

Just a reminder.

Adams trapping the ball on the ground was not a catch.

This
That was a huge call for them!

There were a ton of Niner fans there! I was there too! I'm just glad I left happy with a Niners win. They also had Too Short and Ice Cube as the halftime show. Logan Webb was in the crowd too bad he had Raiders cap on.

Ryans? You mean Hufunga?

Huf reliably gives up a blown coverage for a TD in every game. This game had two of them.

That long TD to Adams is on him too. You can't leave Devante freaking Adams during a scramble drill to chase the QB down.

Shoutout to our safety Gipson. This guy hasn't been given any credit but he's had an awesome season for us. Been very reliable. I wouldn't mind resigning him for next season - he's been great for us.

One of the most underrated signings of the off season

I said during this game it had been a while since we faced a mobile QB and it showed in this game.
