It would be far more maddening, at least for me. Now we're the far superior team, playing at home, at just about full health. If this team loses to Poodle Pete, they have no business being in the playoffs to begin with.

I think we can sit back and say Pete is a heck of a coach. In the offseason, I remember debating ppl on here who were convinced Seattle was 'tanking for a QB' which A they are not and B doesn't happen and C Pete wouldn't be on the sideline for that mess at his age. That said he has done more than most anyone would have expected with this roster. Rams fading opened the door for them as well.

Oh I agree with that, I just think the roster difference leaves no excuse to blow a home playoff game to this Hawks team. Pete's done an admirable job with what he has, but there's no reason we shouldn't end their season. Then again, weird things always happen when we play them

on paper the game shouldnt even be close. I am talking resting starters in the 4th.

but in reality for whatever reason these games typically are one score games.

i realize early in the year we crushed them. up in seattle it was a little tighter. (no deebo and a hurt purdy)

We are a better team, but facing a team 3x in a season is tuff! It's up to our Offense to just run up on them and not let them hang around.

I was worried about playing the Rams 3 times last year. That proved to be warranted.

I'm not worried about playing the Seahawks 3 times this year. We'll see if that proves to be warranted.

Any given Sunday(or Saturday) will always apply and divisional games are weird and Seattle has some absurd luck against us.

Having said that we are a much better team. The game in Seattle on a short week in their stadium with Brock being hurt and unable to throw in practice shouldn't have been as close as it was...and it was only that close because we kneeled on their 2 yard line.

It's simple. Play smart football. Protect the football on offense and don't make bonehead plays whether bad penalties or sloppy tackles/coverage on defense and it will be a win.
We have a solid/great D. We have good-to-great receivers. We have a great TE. We have a great RB corp. ...and we have a QB that our coach trusts. We're in a better position as a team then we have been in 25+ years.

It's the playoffs. nobody will be taken lightly. SF is red hot. I don't buy the "it's hard to beat a team 3 times" thing. It's hard to beat the 49ers once. As long as the 49ers play their game and it's business as usual, they will win, I have no doubt. Im keeping an eye on sneaky pete though 🧐

Yeah the "three times" fear is strange to me. History and experience say the opposite. If we had won the earlier games as the result of lucky plays, fine, be worried, but we were/are clearly better.

I think people are reacting to beating Rams twice last year and then losing the 3rd.

I think...

We are a lot healthier going into this game and we are at home. I think we have the game securely in the bag by the 4th quarter.

Yep. I see a similar game as last week. A little slow start and then just a gradual build to a double-digit win.
I know we are better than these seaturds.... but it's Pete the Cheat and the Aderall boys and they always seem to serve up something dirty for us... me confident but a little nervous
If we win the toss, let's take the ball first and put them away quick. Make geno have to beat us, and just let Bosa and the boys eat.

I don't think it's SEA that gives the 49ers problems, it's SEA being quarterbacked by Russell Wilson that gave the 49ers problems.

Agreed, and I'd add that it was SEA being quarterbacked by Wilson who was being coached by Pete.

Wilson without Pete doesn't scare anyone

Which is astonishing to think about after the season he just turned in
Trying my best to feel confident in this game.

History with Seattle just hasn't been kind, so I feel like a beat dog just afraid of something going bad. Just irrational fear that's hard to get rid of.
