I think my irrational fear of the Seahawks finally faded away after this game.
I can put the demons to rest.

They've been errelavent for a couple of years now, even with Wilson the last couple of years.

Hate to say it but they are going to be a big pain in our side in the future. Much bigger threat than the rams or cards IMO. They had a very good draft class last year and have a lot of draft ammo this year. They will definitely be improved the next couple of years and they weren't as sh**ty as expected this year.

Yeah, Geno is not that bad if they keep him as the starter and he's got some good receivers to throw to. The overall roster is pretty solid.

The Seahawks don't have a QB. Geno is not the answer and he'll be 33 next year. They have the 5th pick so likely won't be able to get Bryce Young or CJ Stroud. And btw, their entire defense sucks, they'll be a middling team for the next decade. We have 2 young and cheap QBs that we can build around for the next 4 years

Geno is fine for now, their offense was not the issue this year. Bmv is right though. They are the team we should fear the most. I wouldn't be surprised if they trade down as well, they will have a lot of ammo to replenish their defense. And they do have a couple solid young defensive players.

Geno can be just as good as Carr. Would make the team competitive.

Purdy was doing to SEA with his scrambling and keeping plays alive what Wilson would do to us ironically

That is OK. We are also going to improve but the key this postseason is to capitalize on getting this chip

I think it all comes down to whether they invest in trying to upgrade from Geno or not. If they play the quarterback lottery in the draft, they could actually burn a lot of their capital and not meaningfully improve. If they are comfortable with Geno and invest in the defensive front seven, they could be trouble. We'll have to wait and see, but I won't assume a radical improvement simply because they have high picks. It takes some teams decades to get out of the basement with high picks year after year.

They can be what we were with Jimmy Garropolo which is a Super Bowl contending team. Heck, if they wanted they could even get Jimmy G this offseason. They have the ammo to continue building out that team and they will which is good for us as iron sharpens iron. Geno at least made the Pro Bowl so I believe he is better than Jimmy G

They have high picks and great coaching. They had an excellent gameplay for us by playing keep away and trying to run right at us. Once again coach Carroll is sounding like our coach in saying that he wishes he could have ran the ball 10 more times just as we hear Kyle saying we have to run the ball 40 times. We will be playing our mirror image soon just as we did in 2012 through 2014

The guy that made them tough for all those years was Wilson. 49ers rarely had trouble playing them close, even when they were at their best, it was Wilson pulling some crazy play out of his ass that made them some incredibly difficult to beat. Geno ain't that guy. I hope they pay him lots of money.
