Philly????????? You don't get it. Have to have home field throughout. Kyle keeps choking games away early in the season

Same with me, I oddly came to peace with it quickly

Unfortunately i think we are getting used to it 😞

I'm bitter and disappointed but definitely not as upset or in a lingering mood at this point. Nothing would convince me we lose that game if Brock hadn't got hurt. Eagles got lucky, and that's all there is to it, in my mind, and that's what I'm sticking with.

This except now I'm reflecting and what should of been just wasn't meant to be. This season, while fun, just had too many terrible things happen. Our franchise QB goes down in week 2... Luckily we had Jimmy who goes down. Along comes this stud Brock and when it matters the most... another injury.

It's b******t lol

Starting 3-5 and 3-4 in consecutive seasons won't cut it.. Not having running back depth behind McCaffrey if Mitchell was out won't cut it. Not having a prepared backup QB in the playoffs won't cut it. Not protecting your QB won't cut it. Not being able sack the opposing QB won't cut it.

Odd that you want to just focus on how the season started

It is and not his fault so much but this was one of the easier years to get in with much of the NFC down. It just sucks. This was our best chance at 6 I think in quite awhile. Well maybe not. We lost.

I'm sick of all these non-fans and ppl I haven't spoken to in years messaging me about "how about them Niners?"
to me, that's the worst part of losing.

Yep. They didn't address the mother effing edge rush opposite Bosa. Brought in a rookie. A D Ford level player would have helped us not start as slow as we did.

Something fishy about that 4th down play.
Obviously the footage was available
Why was it not made available to the people who need to make the challenge calls down to Kyle immediately?

49ers organisation need to make some noise about that

If it's not possible to make all angles legitimately available immediately then teams have to be stopped running a quick play off long completions like that till all angles have been checked.

Not using this one incident as the reason we lost but it was part of the clusterf**k

Not fishy. We all know the s**t was going to get called that way
Kind of an embarrassing loss really. Yeah, qb injuries derailed us, but the eagles had a big hand in those injuries. Good on em, congrats for the victory. And how the f**k has Kyle made it through just a few seasons as a coordinator/coach where he finished with the qb he started with. Jimmy is injury prone… sure. Jimmy continues to be injury prone next couple seasons…. Sure. But then jimmy, Trey, Brock and Johnson all one season? To add onto rg3 and others I'm forgetting?

can't be normal

That was my feeling at first aswell but after seeing how horribly one sided this game was officiated I have a hard time believing the 49ers would've been allowed to win this game healthy Purdy or not.

At least with Shanahan I'm getting accustomed to losing in the playoffs

Kyle is 6-3 in the the playoffs. It sucks that he has to try to overcome so much every season. Its either poor QB play or QB injuries. It never fails.

WTH. That is what blew us home field for this game. Kyle keeps choking games away against 3 win teams. Something has to change

Lol ya but what's his record when it comes down to a trophy. End of story.

I got over it before the game ended. Losing 2 super bowls and 3 champion games before this makes it easy to cope.

The idiots on half time Chief game talking how the Eagles basically destroyed the 9ers and how great they've been all year and NOT ONCE did they mention Brock went down then QB4. Frigging hilarious. Just how great they were. I hope we get a rematch I really do.

The SB this year will be so one sided that the Eagles will wonder what happened.
Getting to the NFC championship and losing is not choking. Losing in the 1st RD would be choking.
