Wouldn't surprise me. When CMC went beast mode on that TD, the league was probally panicking. The bright side is we had no chance in the SB if we somehow found a way to pull off that miracle and would have just been another SB loss to the Chiefs. Even if Jimmy came back for that game we were screwed. He hadn't played in over 3 months and we know how Jimmy is when he has a long layoff.

When you get beat, you foul. We were getting beat. Simple as that. Only oddball one for me was Mason. He was pushed into the kicker and hit the kicker with his back. That's not roughing and because he's pushed it's not running into either. Bad call. But a bad call does happen..

Defense was shutting them down and right after that CMC td drive.... what do you know the zebras start tossing the yellow all over the field.....game was 7-7. It was clear the NFL wasn't going to let us in.

Worst game EVER. I'd rather be forced to watch any other loss over this one.

Of course not. NFL football is a game, entertainment event. Not a sport. But, we love it all the same.

I expected more actually. Good win but let's not act like you weren't handed the game on a silver platter once we had to resort to Josh Johnson.

Ah, the old post-game gloat. A sure sign of a small-minded person.

Congrats to your Eagles, but it wasn't a matter of underestimating the Eagles. Game just became a mismatch at QB on the first 49ers drive.

I honestly wouldn't be shocked if it's Eagles fans dressing up the Rocky statue in opposing colors in order to rile up the fanbase. Nothing works better than some manufactured outrage.

Best of luck against the Chiefs and Refs in two weeks.

Not trying to spread conspiracy s**t... but just posting something that was true.

https://thesportsdaily.com/news/caesars-sportsbook-doesnt-want-49ers-to-win-super-bowl-2023/

The Super Bowl is one of the biggest betting events of the year with novice and big sharks placing their bets on the pinnacle event of the NFL season.

While some bettors are just getting their bets in, others have been wagering on teams to win the Super Bowl for months. For the sportsbooks, that means some teams might cost them more than others.

According to Caesar's Sportsbook, their top liability for Super Bowl 2023 is the San Francisco 49ers.

San Francisco lost its starting quarterback on two occasions this year, resulting in drastic changes in the 49ers' Super Bowl odds. Yet, with rookie Brock Purdy emerging as a serviceable starter, the 49ers are suddenly among the favorites to win it all in 2023.

Not only did Caesar's offer the 49ers as high as +1600 earlier this season but the Sportsbook also accepted a huge bet backing San Francisco to hoist the Lombardi trophy.

Caesars Sportsbook Doesn't Want The 49ers To WinAccording to Adam Pullen, the Caesars assistant director of trading, the US sportsbook doesn't want the 49ers to win the Super Bowl.

The 49ers are one of the biggest Super Bowl LVII bets in the postseason with $75,000 on San Francisco at +1100 odds. The bettor stands to win $900,000 if San Francisco can hoist the Lombardi Trophy in Arizona this year.
Currently, the best NFL betting sites have the 49ers listed at +475 odds to win the Super Bowl, opening up several possibilities for hedging the bet on the road to State Farm Stadium.

Lol congrats on beating a team with a 4th string QB who looked like he never played a game of football in his life. And you still needed the refs help to blow us out. What an accomplishment!

I hate KC, but i hope they blow out your overrated ass team. Will serve all your classless fans right

That was a pic from last year.. and who knows who actually put it up there. Could be an Eagles fan to start controversy or felt the need to motivate their team with something like that. Which is sad by the way.

We get to see yall next year so it should be fun.
Eagles fans are stupid. May be worse than Cowboys or Seahawks fans and I didn't think that was possible

imagine worshiping a statue of a fake person

Underestimated how? Having a QB get his elbow blown out is underestimating?
Another 2nd Place NFC Trophy for Kyle !!

You sure showed us! I'm surprised your Eagles were able to shut down Josh Johnson and a QB had a torn ligament in his elbow. What an accomplishment!
