49ERS at VIKINGS Pregame Thread - MNF 2023 Season Week 7

what is the streak? wins at MIN? MIN has given us some of our most painful moments, 87 team and the Favre BS

Wins in Minnesota......goes back to 1992.

Niners haven't covered the spread against Vikings since early 2000s I think.

I don't think these streaks are as relevant as Jim Schwartz's was versus Kyle, but it's odd AF, when the Giants nearly won twice there last season!

2018 the Vikings were much better and we weren't quite as good and still made it a game.

This streak should end, but it makes me more nervous than a random divisional game.
Came across this in a youtube comment......I think this person is correct referencing the Niners "don't win often in the midwest":

regular season stats. 0-6 last 6 in Minnesota, last win 1992. 0-5 last 5 in KC last win 1982. 0-5 last 5 in Cleveland, last win 1984. 1-8 last 9 in GB. 3-7 last 10 in Chicago. 49ers favored in the majority of these games.

My god!!!

Payback coming
If you think about it Kirk wears the C, so he's Cpt Kirk
Sounds like it will be Levi's Midwest on Monday
They need this W

Gotta put Browns loss behind them. I'd love a blowout but I'll take a 3 point win as well. Maybe a Moody game winner?

3 point win vs this team would be pretty crap, I fully expect a get right game, meaning beatdown

I really want Moody to be put in another game determining situation, hopefully sooner than later. I think if he blows it again, then he may have it in his head and the team has decisions to make. If he pulls it off, we have a resilient kicker I'd be comfortable moving forward with. At this point I do NOT want to roll into the playoffs with him until or unless that question is answered.

You gotta reproduce the conditions of a GW kick in prax
tell him hit this, or you are out of here and the whole team watches to see if he can do it
call a time out in prax also, for the ice effect

Prepare to be disappointed. Not saying it can't turn out that way, but I just watched the preview clip that gets put out before every game, by the NFL I think. Apparently, the Vikings have been playing pretty well on defense and were doing okay on offense before Jefferson went down. The important thing is that they come away with the win, whether it's by 3 or 30 doesn't make much difference to me. Though 30 would probably be more entertaining.

As crazy as it sounds this seems to be a big prove it moment for the season. Niners play well on PrimeTime, I'm expecting again. I bet everyone dresses but more for decoy. Kittle time to earn your pay.
I'm not impressed with the Vikings beating a crap Bears team, they're gonna face a pissed off team especially on the offensive side of the ball. My concern comes being on the road in MIN and that turf

I can't count how many times I've said, "3…2…1" throw up a three pointer. Boom! World Champion.

(You can't reproduce that type of pressure situation.)

My god!!!

Do those GB stats include the playoff wins in 2013 and 2021?

Still, different rosters / coaches often for both teams. Just isn't worth writing about, IMO. Just like the "losing streak in Pittsburgh" brought up earlier this year wasn't worth writing about. AFC teams especially since we play in their stadiums so infrequently.
