It's more on the players themselves. They spend more time lifting weights/cross training/etc. instead of the fundamentals. That's also why you see a lot more drops by receivers even with their magnet gloves and such. The byproduct of all the elite athleticism is that you see far more injuries as well.

Of course the Zone over exaggerates. This game hasn't been his best... but normally he's legit.
It can happen from time to time....as long as it doesn't cost you a game......but again, frustrating in that SF really had a chance to seal it before the missed tackle brigade.
