"The 49ers are likely to interview at least two other coaches from outside the building later in the week. Shanahan did not reveal which other outside candidates are being considered for the position.

NFL rules require clubs to interview at least two minority candidates for all coordinator positions."

He's posted stuff prior that held water. He clearly knows someone in the building. I highly doubt it happens though. I wouldn't want Pete either

You'd think someone would learn to not make evidence-free guesses when their initial theories for something are shown to be highly unlikely by people with sources in the building and around the league.

We fired our DC three days after the Super Bowl with no clear plan of replacing him. If we had a clear plan, we would have more than two interviews done in two weeks.

If this were any other team besides ours, you would be laughing at that team right now.
