Most likely external candidates didn't work out I expect Shanny to declare Bullocks or Sorenson DC sometime this week. Which in essence means the outside guys didn't want to come here. Shame !

Kyle said the interviews with internal candidates finished in the middle of last week. So obviously if the choice was internal he would have announced it. They were using the rest of the time to look for outside guys. Mostly silent on that part so you have to assume at this point that those candidates have passed.

Or maybe they haven't completed the interviews yet due to availability. Or maybe the 49ers have completed those interviews and are making a decision.

I think it has more to do with complications with who they want to hire.
if it was internal they would be easy
if it was say Jeff Ulbrich they have to deal with other factors such as the fact he's on another team.
or if it's Vrabel or Belichick money or control.

I'm not the one who's trying to push yardage as what matters for a defense….you literally proved my point when you said 700 yards was artificially fabricated and can't be applied to the rankings.
No I simply think scoring points > yards. You're the one who's pretending your opinion is superior and then getting mad when it's not. You're pushing a narrative because of how you feel about a coach
