Except Shanahan is not bold enough to make the needed changes. ST continues to be a disaster. DC can't contain gap assignments, coverage assignments, and now eroding on the fundamentals.

Now let's stop using just the defense as the focus scapegoat. CMC + Juice + Samuel + Aiyuk (IR, I know) + Jennings + Kittle + Williams = $110M+ in avg annual salaries per year.

It's frightening the regression across both sides of the ball. This output is frankly fireable, especially with the lack of scheme adjustment and adding more creative playcalls.

If I'm Jed York, I'm taking a very hard look at Ben Johnson this offseason.
